Outrageous comes to mind. Bloody cheek as well. Especially as Walt Disney Studios is a building site right now and the main park is offering nothing new except a seasonal change of decorations. I sincerely hope this influx of money brings us new attractions (and not just Frozen World as they’ve been teasing us with that for several years). Faster progress would sooo be appreciated. Agreed, it is the prettiest park though.. Sigh.
We visited DLP earlier this year when we were in Paris for a wedding. I couldn’t believe the amount of maintenance problems there. It took us 3 tries to go to Phantom Manor. They kept shutting down for ride problems. Once we finally got on it went down again, but we went evacuated from the ride. 15 minutes later we were back under way. We never made it on to Big Thunder Mountain because it went down multiple times that day, and Hyperspace Mountain also was offline all day after running for only an hour. Their maintenance team really need to get on the ball with preventive maintenance. I work as an industrial maintenance technician and if I would have let our equipment get in that bad of shape I would have been fired.
