She Hulk isn’t the only one to get the boot. Hawkeye wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea either. I want them to bring back “Wanda Vision” – that show was one of the best shows in TV history. A close 2nd is “The Falcon and Winter Soldier.” Outside of these 2 Marvel shows, the best Disney plus TV show is Andor – brilliantly written and loyal to Star Wars origins.

There are popular women in Marvel, Star Wars, and DC. People need to stop blaming She Hulks failure on her being a woman. It’s 100% bad writing, seemingly intended to take a stab at men. Like her whole “I’m better at being a Hulk than you because I’m a woman” and the implications that somehow her being catcalled throughout life has made hers far more difficult than Bruces….Who was abused as a child and watched his father murder his mother. Plus nobody wanted to see She Hulk twerk.

    1. Philip

You don’t realize apparently that Banner in the MCU doesn’t have any backstory of seeing his father murder his mother. Wrong Hulk movie history there.

      1. But he did indeed have a back story, they just wasted a show on she hulk instead to push that men bad women powerful narrative. I love all women so let’s not go there phil.

    2. J

You’re speaking for yourself. I want to see she-hulk twerk, lol. You got a problem with booty? Or is it fun? The point of having different shows, each with a different presentation voice, is to offer something for everyone. You want dark and violent? Watch moon knight. You want a buddy action? Watch some sam and bucky. You want to laugh at some more silly stuff? She hulk works for that. I’m not bothered by women being awesome or stupid. People are people. I guess my point is, we all speak for ourselves and we should be allowed to enjoy different things. I haven’t seen anything from the MCU that I didn’t like. I was nervous about race swapping for namor, but I like what they did. She hulk is really comic accurate and I enjoyed her attitude and antics. There’s a lot to love
      Make mine marvel.

    3. GeoStelar

This right here got the crux of it. Its not the fact shes a woman, its not the fact that people are getting representation thats the issue, its bad representation thats the issue. Its constantly stemming from people being lazy with writing and trying to get a cash grab off of the social movements that exist nowadays. She hulk was just unforgivably lazy, boring, and fuelled with an agenda no one asked for in our nerd shit lmao

    4. Guarapari

It’s like being in a bar and a woman walks up and say she’s better than you, and out of your league, buy me a drink. There’s very few men that would appeal to. But that seems to be Disney’s target make audience in this show and some others.

  3. Larry Aldridge

She Hulk was one of the better Marvel t.v. shows.Better than MoonKnight and Ms.Marvel in my opinion. I was hoping they would have her in the new Avengers Movies… but I guess not. Bummer She was a excellent Avenger and member of the fantastic four. What a waste!

    1. Trime2x1

I enjoyed the She-Hulk series but no way was it better than MoonKnight, not even close

    2. moon knight and Mrs Marvel are 100 times better than She hulk, bad writing=a bad show.

  4. I really enjoyed the She-Hulk streaming series. Tatiana Maslany was excellent as Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk! The guest appearances by Hulk, Abomination, and Daredevil were integrated into the storylines well. I really liked the dynamic between Charlie Cox and Tatiana Maslany.
The end episode was insane, but amusing. It was just like what you’d expect from a John Byrne issue in the ’80s or ’90s.
It would be a real shame if they didn’t bring her back!

  5. Howard Buchman

Actress wasn’t the problem on that show.

  6. Pierre Aston

The show was garbage but it had nothing to do with focusing on a female lead. It’s called She Hulk. If the entire writing team wasn’t a bunch of diversity hires intent on making the show a love letter to third wave radical feminism it wouldn’t be hated by so many people. Marvel fans are happy to see well written female heroes. What we don’t need is more “Im a female. My problems will always be worse than any man’s could possibly be”. I want to say I’m surprised Disney released it, but I’m not. Hopefully with the abysmal reception this show and the Acolyte received they will start focusing more on staying true to the source material, good story telling and fan fare over virtue signaling.

    1. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 So it be better non dei? Like the same old views?

  7. Pat

Its all right wing ron desantis following garbage. This was a very good show. I could find 50 shows from the past 10 years worse that people liked without any controversy.

    1. Jd

Isn’t this just your one opinion, that definitely does not align with everyone else?

    2. Chucky Harris

She hulk in my opinion was really good it’s sad the big corporations run the movie business now and what’s really surprising that it’s Disney I wonder if the real boss was alive today what would he say ( Mr. Walt Disney himself ) half of these so call movies wouldn’t even be allowed so it’s big corporation vs the consumer wow! Things have surely changed ( and not for the better unfortunately )

  8. Tim

Damn I never got to finish it

    1. Jd

Isn’t this just your one opinion, that definitely does not align with everyone else?

  9. Josh

It has nothing to do with having a female lead. Silo, Fallout, and other shows are loved and no one is concerned about whether they are led by a woman or not. Stop blaming sexism so we can deal with the poor writing. I’m a man and I was excited for the show but she had no character arch, she had no character development, and while her male counterpart took years to control himself and his emotions, she did it in days because she is a woman. That is sexist and it is just lazy writing.

  10. Supercartoondad

We loved the show ..a breath of fresh air honestly. Hilarious and funny. My other half understood the womens side of the whole show…having been a manager forever. I was really hoping 4another season. Despite people complaining about the show…they all watched it…with intent.

  11. Zach

I actually loved the show, the characters and the 4th Wall Breaks. The only thing I wasn’t too keen on was the twerking scene, but it was fun seeing Daredevil show up, as well as seeing Bruce Banner’s Hulk. It would be nice to see her return in a team up film at some point, provided they learn from their mistakes of course

  12. Cb

Didnt like she hulk series or the character. Even the agatha garbage was nauseating even though had some talented actresses in it,but.im probably in the small percentage, seems alot of people liked em both. For me,disney under kennedy is a disaster in movies and series, ruined star wars as well,so i dont watch most of disney shows or look forward to anything new

  13. Anakin

The problem isn’t with the actress or the writing. It is the audience.. You are not always the intended audience.
Captain Marvel, Wonder woman, Ms Marvel and She hulk are aimed to give young females their superheroes to look up to.
Not every superhero show is made for a male in their 20+.They need to accept that.
You have your The Boys,Fallout, Penguin, Iron man, Andor etc Not every show is meant for you
Captain Marvel quite literally had the message I don’t need a man to validate me aimed at a white male Character. And that struck a nerve obviously because the follow up movies were heavily criticized and had ,lower box office numbers.
The audience needs to understand this: You may not be the target audience and that’s ok. There’s plenty of other movies and shows geared for you. Go watch those instead.

    1. Steve

Lots of Disney shills and bots here.

      1. Devin

100% agree with you here after reading all the comments.

        1. Shemp

Why? Because they disagree with you, so they’re bots or shills? I hate to ruin your day, but turns out you’re not actually the center of the universe. Let people have their own opinions, Trump.

          1. Joe

Anyone who brings up politics while lurking in the comments section of an unpopular Disney TV series is the definition of an idiot & poor loser.

          2. Peter petrelli

Someone mentioned there being bots and shills in the comments and i thought they were exagerating but some of these comments reeked of scripted language so i reverse engineered some of the comments applauding the show and sure enough they have tons of markers that they are AI scripts with prompts for “praising and promoting”. That is just sad and pathetic.

    2. Jomama

Pretty sure this is why it failed. It was just a poorly written preachy “women are better than men” story. Nothing more, you can’t expect shows to be popular when there aren’t enough of a fanbase for that type of show.

    3. Matt

That’s what we did and the movies tanked without those “nasty male 20 something’s”. You don’t seem to understand the concept of capitalism. You can’t target a small minority group and make a billion. Shareholders expect profit. If that means catering to the male 20 something demographic to make that money then so be it. Go woke, go broke…

  14. Andre vanvalen

The only thing wrong was the story line. It took the hulk a long time to deal with it until he became the smart hulk. She was able to accept it and deal with it quicker than the hulk. A different story line with different villains would have been better. And maybe it wouldn’t have been cancelled. But hopefully they bring it back. There’s hardly no superhero shows about women heroes because the keep getting cancelled.

  15. Greg Giordano

I did not care for the show. I will not miss it nor do I really care who is the lead in any future projects. I am glad that the studio is focusing on the characters that are successful and carry the MCU into the future.

  16. Yes bring it back for another season. Tatiana was great in the show. It was pure fun. I’d just let her be the hero of her own story. Even with the finale, when she scrubbed the parts that weren’t working, they still placed her back in the story without letting her save the day. It was already over when she went back to her world. She should have kicked butt in the courtroom and sent the jerks to jail that way. Her intelligence was her superpower all along. She was trying to figure out why Jen was just as fab as SheHulk throughout that entire series! That’s why. She’s intelligent and an amazing lawyer. That is why the show fell flat in the end to me. They skipped the heroine being the heroine in the final act. Episode 7 with Dare Devil was fun and they had great chemistry! Bring her back! She would a fantastic addition to the next team of Avengers as well.

  17. She Wendi

They tried to capture the humor of 1989 – 94 She Hulk comics written by John Byrne, who had her breaking the 4th wall way before Deadpool, but it somehow got lost in translation from comics to screen. It was a more enjoyable series for me since I had that point of reference.

    1. Matt

It wasn’t lost in translation. It was the “message”. Most of us are tired of it. I really like Captain Marvel. Even with those comments made before the premiere by Brie Larson, I liked it. I didn’t let her opinion affect the movie because it was done well. She’s entitled to an opinion. But the second movie, Marvel totally blew it. I did not want to see Captain Marvel and Home Alone Girl Power. Totally undermined a great female lead with Brie Larson. Further proof, people are sick of the message. Go woke, go broke…

  18. Shurod

As a comic-book geek, I thought it was a good show!!!! I think if Disney was planning to scrub out a character, at least finish the story.

  19. Al

I loved the show, was very upset not to have a 2nd season. She-Hulk was one of the better shows that my entire family enjoyed. It needs to come back with its original cast.

  20. Andy

Was going to put my rant about it. But I remember, The Critical Drinker on YouTube summed it up perfectly. So go watch him because he speaks for the masses on this one……

  21. Allen

Nobody bar Deadpool in that movie has had any cinema success. They are all flops, massively so. To say the banner is their top stars is laughable

  22. I thought the show was great fun. It’s not my favourite, but I enjoyed it. I should point out that Loki isn’t in that picture either, and his fans have been asking for him.

  23. MB

I enjoyed She-Hulk. It was fun; despite the technical glitches. I was hoping for a season 2.

    1. Quintin Burnett

I concur completely, it was quite entertaining and Aesthetically pleasing

  24. Quintin Burnett

I enjoyed the she Hulk series, it was awesome. I don’t understand why it’s receiving such negative connotation, was it because of the Megan the Stallion scene? I thought that was hot and risqué. And of course, Megan was super awesome as ever. That woman sure knows how to enter a room, nevertheless I hope they give it another shot, I’m here for it.

  25. SH

There have been awesome female focused series that are very popular.
This was bad writing, weak storyline, and slapstick lame humour that did it in.
It has NOTHING to do with it being female centred. That’s a pathetic statement.

  26. Adrian

This was a comic accurate show, great actress, good pace, they just couldn’t close it out. They got too cute with the ending (Scar, Ai machine) with no real villain. Deserves another chance, but won’t get it

  27. Albert

It’s funny that everyone on here with their opinions about how they loved the show, and the corporations or toxic fans are what caused it to be canceled. Sorry, but wrong on both counts. Just like the Acolyte, it didn’t have very many viewers and lost Disney millions of dollars. That’s why it was canceled. It’s a business of making money to entertain people, and when only a few are watching it, and it loses money, there is no need to lose more because of those few people’s feelings or opinion.

  28. Matt

This is my thoughts and opinion, Tatiana is a great actress, she was great in Orphan Black, playing multiple roles, with different personalities. She was good in She-Hulk as well, and for the most part I liked it. But there were some parts that were $#!+. Like when Bruce is “training” her as a hulk. And it feels like she just aces it all, to me it had the feeling of that old song “anything you can do, I can do better”. The twerking scene was ghastly. Twerking should not be legal. And the introduction to the Wrecking Crew was a laugh. I didn’t get the impression they were a threat at all. And She-Hulk just easily took care of them. Granted yes, it was their first time. But in the comics, they give the Avengers, Hulk, and She-Hulk a hard fought battle. Abomination was a disappointment, it was cool to see him, but he wasnt the threat he was in Hulk. The ending was a cluster f&@$ and very cringey. I’d blame the writing and I’ve never heard how much input Tatiana had in the writing process or in creative input. I’ve read Tatiana has thrown a lot of shade at Deadpool & Wolverine despite it’s huge success, because it wasn’t women empowering and just gratuitous violence, bad language, and her cameo was cut out because it didn’t fit the rest of the movie and felt more like a big advertisement for future MCU movies. So to change the actress is in a way a moot point. Ruffalo is the 3rd Hulk, they recast Roadie from Terrance Howard to Don Cheadle after the first Ironman movie. So if Tatiana really has been on a rampage against their success, even though she’s basically a part of the MCU, because the movie wasn’t what she thought it should be and was more successful for all the “wrong” reasons according to her, she should be dropped. If you are employed somewhere, and your idea of success doesn’t align with the company, you’re going to get fired or be miserable working there. If she could suck it up and follow what is successful, then keep her. Again, She-Hulk wasn’t bad, but it had a bunch of moments that were cringe, and downplayed the threat the villains brought, except for Titania. But with the way she was a slave to her phone and her followers, ruined the character I think. I felt the show kind of $#!+ on masculinity and that femininity was superior. When in reality, they are equal. When one says they are superior to another, they are part of the problem.

  29. Ronald Alexander

I think she’s a perfect She Hulk. And, She Hulk deserves better writing. But, She Hulk definitely should be a permanent part of the MCU
