The problem is they have become less inclusive, especially for guests with disabilities that don’t fit the mold of the new DAS requirements, but are not mobility related (yes they had to do something, but the new setup has failed to provide appropriate accommodations for those that truly need them in many cases and no, I am not saying the DAS is the only solution for those cases, but I am saying what they have in place isn’t working) and have eliminated way too much of the entertainment as well. Add in the fact that other theme parks and other venues are going out of their way to become far more inclusive and adding more entertainment and keeping prices affordable, Disney is becoming more and more of a losing proposition and raising prices will not help that. Disney needs to restore ALL of its entertainment offerings, reopen ALL venues, get back fully to pre-COVID levels, open some new attractions, bring back the more all inclusive nature of a Disney vacation instead of the nickel and diming that they have now, then and only then can they even consider a SMALL price increase.

They need to remember that people used to be willing to pay a premium for Disney because they didn’t have to spend extra on things like Fastpass (now paid lightning lanes), paying for a spot to see Fireworks, Parades, etc. (premium viewing experiences), so on and so forth. Now if you want to do these things without waiting for hours on end, you have to pay extra. Disney also used to provide things like Extra Magic Hours pretty much every day of the week, some mornings and some evenings, but every single day. Now you get 30 minutes early and if staying at a Deluxe hotel you get a couple of hours on a couple of days a week. They used to host free Annual Passholder parties, the list goes on and on. The value is just no longer there to justify the premium prices.
