A 10 story Vacation Club hotel in between Fort Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness Campground? Nothing like sticking out. Sounds like an eye sore to me. How about expanding the Campground? Making more camping sites. Sites that fit the bigger rigs people are opting to buy and stay in instead of the expensive, can’t afford anymore, hotel rooms. The Campground is always full. It’s a happy family friendly way of enjoying the Magic. Most hotel rooms don’t fit enough people in them. I travel with 7.
AND what’s with the “new” Fort Wilderness “cabins”. There’s nothing Fort Wilderness about them. Too contemporary. No Wilderness at all. Looks like half of a house we saw being hauled down the highway to be united with it’s other half somewhere.
This Grandma of 10 has been coming since the 1990’s. Used to have an Annual Pass. Disney isn’t Disney anymore more. Go back to buy a ticket and get in line. Bring back the Magic and Pixie Dust. Please.

I understand that Disney wants to build new hotels. I get it. Still, I think that they should have made it a moderate cost resort instead of a deluxe resort. Also, (as the other commenter mentioned) these pictures/drawings look nothing like wilderness nor nature. If you’re building a new more nature inspired hotel then please make it look like nature.
