Why were no lessons learned from SARS-CoV-2? It is an airborne virus that lingers in the air like smoke for hours. Multiple re-infections, even mild ones, lead to immune system damage, cardiovascular issues, and viral persistence in organs and bone marrow. This leads to opportunistic infections from other illnesses too. Our population is getting more and more sick and going along with it.
While the vaccines offer some protection, more is needed. We need clean air investments. We need to protect children and visitors.
With lack of masking and no upgraded ventilation at the parks, it’s no wonder people are getting sick here. Crammed inside lines with thousands of other people is a recipe for disaster. This is not normal.
Please write an article on the importance of Disney upgrading ventilation systems at park, using air filtration, far UV lights, and ASHRAE 241 standards in their buildings and rides. You can Clorox wipe all you want, but it doesn’t stop airborne spread.
If we keep trying to normalize mass re-infection of COVID, RSV, and other airborne illnesses, we are in for a reckoning of disabilities and autoimmune disorders to follow.
Did you know like herpes virus or HIV, SARS-COV2 (covid) persists? That means your body and immune system never clear it fully. That means it creates viral reservoirs in your gut, kidneys, and brain tissue. So while this article completely ignores that our vaccine strategy didn’t work to prevent acute infection (Dr. Fauci admitted finally a couple weeks ago that herd immunity with covid is impossible because we stopped masking & allowed the virus to reinfect too many people and so the virus is mutating faster than our vaccines are capable of treating), it’s important to realize that the brain fog you’re experiencing right now or tachycardia, or IBS is related to covid. It’s still inside of you making you very sick and making you progressively worse over time.
Covid is airborne and still causes disabilities and autoimmune disorders. Damages your immune system too. Disney needs to enact better airborne precautions like ASHRAE 241 standards in buildings
There’s a disproportionate amount of focus of germs spread through touch in this article, when covid is just straight up airborne on the water vapor from peoples’ breath. Mask up, people!!
Thank you for sharing this info. Please keep posting this info. I wear N95 masks at the park and find them highly protective! Covid is no joke, and it unfortunately never went away.
We have been DVC members since 2011, and have been to Disney countless times over the years. The only illness I came down with(and 3 of the 4 members of our party got it), I believe was a norovirus that lasted a few days. But, now, with the prevalence of Covid and the flu, especially in the fall and winter months when we usually go, I decided to get the new covid vaccine yesterday, as we are returning to Disney World in the beginning of January. I will be getting the flu shot next week to maximize my chances of staying healthy through our trip. Getting vaccinated as well as hand washing and sanitizing are certainly the best way to ensure you have an enjoyable, illness-free, magical time on your trip.
We have seen parents allow young ones to play on rails, touch everything and put hands In mouth, unsanitary and can get the family ill. As well seen people cough and sneeze without covering mouth or nose. One gent was approached about coughing and he told the elder to mind his own business he likes to share all he has including illness. It was a disrespectful sight…

Most who visit Disney World are woke people who get the jab and become super spreaders of the new COVID variants.

COVID is not going anywhere,it’s here for ever we just have to live with it

We were at WDW over Labor Day week and came home with Covid as a souvenir. Could have picked it up on the plane or at WDW; not sure.
