The level idocracy in any amusement park is due to the entitled mentality of a generation taught by their parents they are first no matter what. Some hide behind their heritage or bad parenting, they come first no matter the situation.
Maybe reading theology would be a great place to start.
“Do unto others as you would have done to you”.
Banning for life the offenders is the solution.
I have several cast members who are friends and say Disney is covered in security cameras. They need to start tracking these people down and charge them with Disturbing the Peace Penal Code 415, 90 days in county jail, a $400 fine, or both jail time and a fine if it’s a brawl or serious fight. Immediate ban from all parks. Zero tolerance policy. It needs to be a warning pop up on the website EVERY TIME YOU MAKE A RESERVATION. “You acknowledge and understand you WILL be banned and charged for Disturbing the Peace Penal Code 415”
We had a family swearing and being very violent with us on our last visit to Disney world. A cast member opened the rope up for us to get our wheelchair in for our disabled son after she watched tons of people cutting off our family of three. Then the young group started yelling profanities in front of my 8yr old about line jumping who we think we are even though the cast member let us in after their group amongst others cut us off. Not sure why all the anger. We were just doing as we were told. Nice way to start at most magical place.
Disney is their own worst enemy. The increased cost to ride the rides, and the increased cost of mediocre, at best food, is enough to cause unpleasant folks. Disney is attempting to outprice mid-level income-earning people from the parks. That’s the beginning to the end of Disney as we knew it once upon a time.
I have to say to those of you trying to “justify” the bad behavior, you must be part of the problem yourself, if you believe that it is okay to behave like this in a public place. It is never okay. Once in DCA I had an obviously drunk guy trying to pick a fight with myself and a friend. We both took the high road and just walked away. If he followed we would have found a cast member. No way I want to be banned for life. I will admit that if Disney did not allow alcohol in the park, there would probably be fewer altercations.
Becoming, who am I kidding, simply is way to common. It’s very sad to see around all the kids when empty head childlike adults (my language is much more colorful when not family friendly) pull this nonsense.
I don’t support fighting at any theme park. When a fight broke out at magic kingdom I kept my family moving to a safe part of the park. Then reported what I saw at the fight and who was involved in the fight. Safe to say incase of a fight just walk away to another part of the park.
This is so unfortunate. I guess that these people don’t care that they’re not just endangering themselves but, also their friends/family, and the friends/family of other guests. They also don’t care that they’re being bad examples for their kids. Plus, that if they get permanently banned that would mean that their kid won’t be able to enjoy something that all kids should be able to enjoy (which is a lovely time with friends/family which is difficult now and days with everyone being so busy). Sad!!!!! It is true that some of the food is mediocre and over priced, it is true that some of the rides keep breaking down/need maintenance, that the lines are more than 30 minutes long for some rides that in the end only take a few minutes (once you get on the ride) to finish it so fast, etc. I can understand why people would get so upset. It’s understandable. But, that’s no reason to get into a fist fight, curse at other guests in front of friends/family/other guests, and act like you’re more entitled so that you deserve to get what you want when you want. That’s no excuse. I’ve (luckily) have never seen such behavior. Disney should do something about it quick before their reputation of family friendly fun with no hassles is ruined forever.

Perfect example of the decay of American common respect and decency along with the rise of entitlement!

Lovely. So the same kind of people ruining the day at Walmart are ruining Disney. Where I go to get AWAY from Walmart. That’s nice. 🤦♀️

The increase in price, long lines and broken rides does not help
Eugene
It usually prices the Walmart crowd out and keeps them at Six Flags.

That is what Walt said in 1956 no alcohol in his park Disneyland at the time and I am positive it would have carried over to WDW !!
Tracy
There is no alcohol in the Magic Kingdom where this altercation took place.
Jolly Holiday
The Disneyland Resort holds a liquor license in Orange County, CA.
for Club 33, the Resort Hotels and Both theme parks for private parties.

At least they weren’t Black. And it looks like they were able to control their emotions enough to Not fistfight.
