    Hi.
As a long-time fan of WDW and its multi-generational attractions, I am sad to hear about these recent announcements (Tom Sawyer, Rivers, Riverboat). And now, they’re shutting down another great attraction for a very long time. This adds to the unfortunate and unnecessary demise of the very popular Splash Mountain.
As a senior who’s interest in Disney goes back to the 60s, I always felt the thing that made WDW unique was the mult-generational theming and attractions.
It seems that Disney no longer has good decision-making skills, and their efforts continue to trend towards just another theme park.
I’m also concerned about the movement at Epcot away from their wonderful and unique theming of “informational”. An example of that can be seen at France, where the wonderful film “Impressions of France” has been moved to a few hours per evening, and a “sing along” now takes up most of the day.
Add to that, they no longer have the ability to make quality films as they did in decades past.
It is sad to see what was once an interesting, peaceful, and unique place to go, slowly being ruined by very poor decision-making and lack of good leadership.

    More importantly:
God Bless all who had problems from the recent storms! Hope you are able to recover soon.

So sad to see plans to destroy the riverd of America. There is so much more land above and beyond thunder mountain to build both cars and villains. I guess they stop catering to customers and cram in more concrete to and already crowded park. This calming green space is what made the park beautiful

The Rivers of America is not being destroyed. There is no Cars coming to WDW, ever. Disney’s days of owning Pixar are numbered as Disney will meet the same fate as Standard Oil and Google. All Pixar attractions are going away.

        Weirdo 🤡

You don’t ever disrespect military men, civvie. I’m your superior and you take orders from me so says Congress, do you understand? You will answer “Yes Sir” if asked a question. The Rivers of America is not closing and that is a fact you will admit. Disney has no legal right to remove it.

Hey, Crazy Steve, did you just cut and paste the beginning part of your rant from other crazy rants you’ve made? I think you did, you lazy POS haha

You realize it’s against the law to disobey the military in the United States. Even Disney has to obey me and respect my uniform at all times. Part of my job is to police the Disney fandom and dispel false rumors like the Rivers of America going away. Sit down.

Steve, Another thing, civilians do NOT have to obey every military person. The only time that is so, is if a government official has made an order and deployed the military to enforce it. An example would be crowd control in the event of a natural disaster or civil disorder such as the LA Riots in 1992. I was in the military, I should know. I also know the military has a zero tolerance for drug use. You better lay off the drugs before they test you, and you receive a dishonorable! That is if youre even actually in the military.

            Newsflash: He’s not.

          5. Steve

Yes I am and have family in Congress that shield me. A little thing called nepotism. I’m as untouchable as Eliot Ness. Yes civilians have to obey the military at all times and that means Disney does, too.

It’s difficult to taylor to everyone needs and wants. I think that instead of Disney just constructing new things that they should ask the park guests what they would want to see at each park. I was never really a fan of Tom Sawyer’s Island area of MK. But, I understand why others like it. Maybe they should have made a 5th park instead of just adding more and more things to parks that are already crowded. But, Disney will do what ever they want to make more money. That’s just life.

You sound like you need to get a life.

      1. Steve

He has a life. You need to stay out of Disney parks. You’re not welcome and when I take over Disney the parks will be off limits to everyone except Disney purists.

I wanted to visit WDW this December but it fell through. Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain were my two favorite rides at the park. I always liked Rivers of the USA and the Great Movie Ride. Disney management is ruining the World.

Apparently you didn’t like Rivers of America enough to remember its actual name.
