A vibrant street scene at Disney theme park features people strolling along a main avenue adorned with festive fall decorations. Shops line both sides, and a castle looms majestically in the background under a bright, cloudy sky. Nearby, the entrance to Peter Pan’s Flight draws excited visitors.

She didn’t know she was pregnant?

Listen to the video she explains it! She went to a doctor and he told her it was PCOS from having just gotten off the pill!

Sly must be a BIG girl

I saw it happened once the mother carried the baby mostly towards the back and baby was premature but both parent and child were healthy. Mother was 4’11 and weighed 95 pounds. I was shocked

Knowing or not knowing that she was pregnant is irrelevant. The common sense of the bureaucratic system is beyond reproach. We are talking about a new born baby going home to a country that has FORMAL DIPLOMATIC relations with the US. The process of the citizenship can still be accomplished with out them staying in the US and causing the family undo hardship.

I agree 100%. Governor DeSantis needs to intervene. He’s not only a lawyer, but a pretty smart guy who can cut through the bureaucratic BS and help the government idiots in Australia figure it out.

And they will laugh at DeSantis. This is an Australian matter not a US matter. If anything we [Americans] will have (2) people in America illegally because their visa runs out. That should be your concern. Illegals, memba dat?

NOT by choice. Their own government is not allowing them to return because of their kid. BIG difference. Whoopsie…… Reading comprehension is your friend…..

If the child is an American citizen, why can’t a passport be issued do they can finish the citizenship process from home?

      Yep!!! 👍👍

if a baby born to American parents is considered American, why is it that true of Australian parents.

    1. Osbert

Birthright is where you are born.
In USA you can elect to be of your Birthright country OR an America on you 18th birthday – or so I was told by my German Born wife that became officially an America at 18. Please read more books.

I knew that a child born in the USA is considered a U.S. citizen, but I didn’t think that took away the parents’ right to claim their own child as an Australian citizen. Seems like a mis-applied policy by the Aussies.

This is Australia’s way of laughing at our ridiculous “open borders” where anyone from anywhere can enter the US. Pretty funny actually! Kudos to a country with appropriate restrictions but little common sense, apparently.
