I won’t dispute that the guest was an idiot but redesigning scenes to remove bad behavior by the pirates is insane. Pirates were not ladies and gentlemen who observed present-day standards for appropriate behavior. More broadly, erasing elements from the past that do not comport with present-day standards for acceptability is absurd and harmful. This woke nonsense is driving more and more people away from brands like Disney as they attempt to grovel before the far-Left. Enough already.

If you are to “Far” into anything it is not what is going to be acceptable for a majority, and in most cases trigger both negative actions and reactions. A very wise man once said “You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time”. And I am sure there are many who would like to cancel that idea since it does not align with their particular outlook on life which might be that they think they need to be pleased all of the time, and will throw a fit if they are not “groveled to”
