Staying at the fort now and lots of movement going on in that area. You can see large earth moving equipment on the ferry to MK. They’ve been setting up turbidity curtains in the water up to the fort the last few days. Something def moving along.
With all the hubbub going on maybe WDW has finally seen the light. Maybe they are finally going to address the housing shortage in their area. This shortage and the expense of ANY housing in the area forces many Disney employees to sleep in their cars. Maybe Disney is constructing a place to house, permanently house, Disney employees. It would be a great idea!
Just think of it. There are rooms for 900 ‘guests’ to reside here. That could be 900 Disney employees! And Disney could charge them 10% of their monthly wages for room and utilities. This would solve several problems at once and demonstrate that WDW is very interested in the welfare of its employees. What do you think? Would WDW actually have a heart and do something massively for its employees or not?
