It’s all Hollywood theatre. Every statement an response are crafted by legal & marketing to ensure minimal brand damage so the real story is only heard in whispers and rumors.

Whatever the real reason it was enough to demote her, a woman, which is risky to do these days no matter how epically the woman fails, but not such to fully fire her or do forced “voluntary separation”. Likely it’s a compromise, they no fire her and she no get the feminist/woke mob to attack Disney. They weren’t willing to let her keep costing teh company money via bad decisions but they could afford to restrict her damage impact to individual movies 1 at a time.

She over saw the decline when the movies went woke. There are not enough wokes to support the genre but the real cause of the problem is Iger and the board.

You are rewriting Disney for 10% of the US Population, while the other 90% of US and the world are mostly happily coexisting and wish the 10% would stop and Disney would go back to its roots!

Golly gee Beav, what could have led to all the flops? Oh yeah, pandering to the 3%’ers, while the majority…the ones who actually pay most of the bills…do not want these types of flicks.

She stepped down as Walt Disney Animation Studios Chief Creative to focus her attention on the franchise that she helped create. Lee will write and direct Frozen 3 as well as write Frozen 4 with Marc Smith. Disney isn’t parting ways with her.

They expect garbage to be profitable? This ‘new’ Disney is no longer entertaining.
