All though I’ve not been to Universal in years I do understand why some people may get upset over the loss of the Simpsons Land. I get it. Disney is demolishing Dino Land USA in Animal Kingdom. One of my favorite rides is there. Dinosaur. I just hope that Universal builds something really cool and family friendly. Nothing that goes upside down and not Harry Potter. There is enough Harry Potter areas at Universal.
Back when Disney acquired Fix properties, they should have made a deal with Universal to sell them Simpsons rights and let them broadcast Simpsons for getting back all the Marvel rights so they could build MCU in WDW. Simpsons was popular but an older series that really doesn’t fit in the Disney portfolio well. Now Simpsons is barely worth much that Universal is ready to outright ditch the land and it’s not driving the large numbers of D+ memberships just to watch it. Wasted opportunity.
