I always ask why, in terms of attractions needing to close to make way for new ones, since it has been historically pointed out that Disney’s property in Florida had the luxury of much more land than its California counterpart. That being said, attractions probably will be removed, since that seems to be Disney’s practice.
The Muppets, unfortunately, are not sacred. The same attraction was removed from DCA to make way for Philarmagic, and no one seems to mind. Monsters Inc attractions will bring more people to the park than a 3D Muppet film will. The other option is removing Rock N’ Roller Coaster because Aerosmith has now officially called it quits, tragically, which means that the concept of traveling by limo to an Aerosmith show is to quickly become outdated. Either way, the new Monsters Inc land will be a beloved crowd pleaser.

They should put the Monster’s Inc ride where the Muppets 3D is cause the Muppets show has been there for a long time

They should not replace the Rock’N Roll Roller Coaster. Disney needs more roller coasters, not less. Both Rock’N Roll Roller Coaster and Slinky Dog have some of the longest waits in WDW.
