Get your facts straight. I still pay 6.99 a month for Disney Plus and I’ve never once seen an ad… Do they really pay you to write, cause you definitely don’t read …smh.
This is ridiculous; maybe they wouldn’t have problems if they didn’t cancel shows before their time when the scripts are literally done because of “Disney+ performance” when the shows in question are live TV shows (looking at The Ghost and Molly McGee). And just in general. But let’s get real and talk about those other apps, shall we?
Now I’ve barely used them, but I discovered the sheer joy of the FXNOW app recently when it was my only available option anywhere to stream Ghostbusters: Afterlife for free (since none of our paid services had it. My family collectively has: Netflix, Disney+, Max, and AMC+. I used to have Hulu, but had to cancel it). Unlike some other platforms, its ad breaks only have one ad and they’re short. I’ve been looking forward to exploring the app a bit since I do watch a few FX shows which I haven’t had access to since canceling Hulu.
Alas, here we are again. Now we already have Disney+ because my sister pays for it. But I’m pretty miffed at the increasingly numbskull ideas corporations are coming up with these days to try to force people to spend more money while taking away things they like. It’s not going to win points with anyone! Decreasing the public’s opinion of you probably isn’t in your best interest after other public debacles. For goodness sake. Take the wads of cash out of your ears and listen for a hot minute, Iger.
Come on guys!guts!! You are a monopolizing corporation. Help your fans and families stick with you. Stop price gouging. I love disney and always have, but don’t become Jerks.
Well, let’s see if consumers now understand this publicly traded company’s price increase is a “business decision” by the CEO and not a policy decision driven by politicians. Nothing infuriates me more than people complaining with their vote, when they should be complaining with their dollars when it makes “cents”.

Those apps are so old I didn’t even know anyone still used them, I’ve not seen anyone use any of those apps in years.

Exactly, not to mention they charge anywhere from $19.99 to $30 just to rent an episode or movie. Lost my patronage for life
