We have used the DAS pass in the past, however with the new rules we can’t be sure my autistic grandson will be granted one. I’m not sure I want to renew my AP or his if he gets denied

The new DAS is a disgrace. They’re actively discriminating against all types of disabilities. To claim it prioritises ASD which I repeatedly see is the Disney line is a lie and in my opinion it is causing issues between groups of people with different needs as I have seen comments which target ASD as being the only ones that will be approved which is untrue and other people feeling punished and not allowed DAS because of other disabilities …it is causing unnecessary disharmony amongst the general disabled community when we all need to fight these changes together! Everyone has their own story visible or invisible. The fact it Disney claim they want to stop fakers claiming DAS, then ask for proof, we would be happy to provide it as would others…Disney are making excuses about not being able to hold personal medical data for DAS, then use the service that other parks do IBECCES or Nimbus in the UK problem solved.

No longer going to Disney because of this DAS issue. If they are worried about people “faking it” to skip the lines, they can simply return to the free FastPass+ system. The abuse of DAS really became prevalent after Disney dropped the FastPass+ system. Can’t wait for Epic Universe to open! My money will be going to Universal from now on. They have a fair, user friendly disability pass system.
