Police have issued an update after a man was arrested for assaulting several guests at a water park.
In the past few months alone, we’ve heard of a guest (who happened to be a YouTuber) being removed from Grizzly River Run at Disney California Adventure after acting inappropriately and making loud innuendos while waiting in line for the attraction. Another influencer was arrested at Universal Orlando Resort after wearing a fake mustache and being accused of trespassing.
Prior to that, a man was arrested at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn Resort after a physical altercation broke out due to his mocking a guest with Down Syndrome.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Inside the Magic reported on an incident in which a drunk man exposed himself at a water park in Massachusetts. Canobie Lake Park’s Castaway Island was visited by police who arrested an inebriated guest who had removed all of his clothes and was lying naked near the wave pool.

Now, we’ve heard of yet another concerning incident at a water park in Canada. According to a statement released by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, a 25-year-old man was arrested following reports that a man was groping guests while walking around the Moncton water park.
The incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. on July 7, 2024. When police arrived at Magic Mountain water park – which describes itself as “Atlantic Canada’s largest water park” – they were told that a man was walking around the property and randomly groping other parkgoers.

Police located and arrested the man, but he was later released from custody ahead of an appearance in Moncton Provincial Court on October 24.
At least 12 people were impacted – some of whom were under the age of 16 – but New Brunswick RCMP has said that it is “working diligently to understand if there were other victims” at the water park.
Sgt. Sylvette Hebert with the Codiac Regional RCMP said: “We are asking parents to speak to their children if they attended this location on July 7. We also want people to know that a sexual assault complaint can be made at any time. If you are a victim of sexual misconduct, please contact us. You will be listened to, and you will be believed.”
