Its not saying no kids. I think anyone under 17 yrs needs someone over 21 yrs old in the park with them. If you can’t be with your kids in the park, then don’t send them. It’s a good policy.
This should be the rule from opening to close. Especially at Six Flags white water. They place runs wild with kids without someone watching them. They are all mostly dropped off at whitewater
This is not new to Cedar Fair who has the controlling interest in the merger. The chaperone policy has been in effect for two seasons now at Cedar Fair parks. Some parks remain open through Fall and Winter and so, 4pm is designed to make sure younger kids are safe and it’s not as easy for some of the rowdy teens to be up to no good. This is helpful when it’s dark and crowded during Haunt and Fright Fest. Children are not banned. They just need adult supervision when in the parks after 4pm.

This isn’t controversial and has been happening at Cedar Fair Parks for a while, this just brings a consistent policy across all Six Flags parks.
