I am on JK Rowling’s side men cannot and will never be women, just as women will never be men. Only women can get pregnant and bring life into this world with the assistance of a man. And women’s rights are greatly being violated by the trans community. There are only 2 genders and you can’t change your biology no matter how many surgeries and medications you have to take for the rest of your life to maintain the lie you tell yourself

Your comment is riddled with inaccuracies. If you’re going to have an opinion, at least have an informed one.

If you are gonna criticise someone else’s comment, maybe you should explain why and how they are wrong.

        Dispute it, biological flat Earther.

I agree. That is not to say I dont support folks who are trans and live as a gender that varies from their biological sex. But no matter what a person does to their body, the biological sex does not change. You are still XX or XY. A trans woman is not a biological female and never can be. They may both live as women, which I fully accept, but are not equivalent, say for participating in competitive sports.

  2. Live and let live. Ms. Rowling needs to keep her opinions to herself. The trans community has had there share of attacks many physical. I don’t see any good reason for to make it her business to judge. The trans community has suffered great violence . Many have been murdered or beaten so badly that the will forever be disfigured. I think is shameful that Ms. Rowling is making this issue her mission. Stick with writing your books making many millions. So why go after a minority so fiercely. Turn down the temperature. If you don’t like trans people. Do be trans. Does she even know why she chooses to put a target on the backs of trans folk as she has. It really isn’t any of her business. You have a very nice life., while most trans people are ostilrized beaten and murdered. Just stop the attack on the Trans communities around the world.

If it’s nobody’s business, then why does the trans community feel it is everyone business, by throwing it in our faces. I’m part of the LGBQT. You want to know why everyone is turning their back on the LGBQT, because of the QT. The trans community is the ones bringing all the drama on themselves. By demanding this and demanding that. And everyone has to bend over backwards and kiss their butts.

I think JK Rowling has been completely understood. She objects to 2 things: stating a trans female is equivalent to a biological female. They are not. She supports adults who are trans and choose to live as a gender different from their biological sex. Two: She has expressed deep concern that the medical community immediately accepts that a child is trans because they say they are, without deeper exploration. Many doctors advocate giving hormones to minors immediately. I am a physician and have been very uncomfortable with this philosophy. Taking hormones and blockers before and during puberty causes irreversible changes to the body and brain. And we’re ok with a 12 or 13 yo making this decision on their own? No way. JK Rowling supports adults who make this decision for themselves but not minors. Her primary concern is for child welfare. She is not objecting to a child or minor declaring they are trans. She objects to making permanent, life long decisions about one’s body before a person truly knows who they are or what they want.

Yes beaten and disfigured by their own kind.

I would love to read more books in the Harry Potter series. I also appreciate J.K. Rowling standing up for women’s rights which the trans community seems determined to deny and erase. In the future keep your article on topic. If you wish to write about her book plans do so. I don’t want to hear another word about the actors who betrayed her when she defended women.

I loved the whole Potter series, but will never give JK another penny. Can’t support hate and bigotry. If you want to openly express yourself in this hateful culture, then you subject yourself to losing your support system.

    1. Paddie O'Furniture

      Not hateful, just pro-NORMAL.

    2. Truth is not bigotry; do you have a womb is an honest question that supporters will not answer!!

    3. KM

I’m sure 1 Veronica Miller not buying her books will blow over like a fart in a hurricane…Noone cares. She’s right in her opinion. It’s not hate it’s truth. People are free to disagree but that doesn’t equal hate…truth hurts those who deny it…it’s that simple.

I love all the Potter books. I will give and give and give JK lots of money. Thank goodness for her support of women. You have all my support JK!

I would be more interested if this story takes place after Harry Potter and if the original actors would return to their respected rolls

    1. Chris – *roles NOT rolls.
I don’t know why people keep doing that.

  7. Peter Kersey

Harry Potter books were a brilliant read, I would love to read more about Harry and the gang’s families and exactly what happened afterwards

  8. Carmen

I’d love to know how the Dursley’ s managed for a year being hidden away with a witch and a wizard.

  9. Oh really

It is not hate. It is science. Wishing it away does not change it.
Rowlings books are brilliant and i would welcome more.

I for one absolutely love the Harry Potter genre. It has brought me through the most dark times of my life. And continues to. I’m not sure exactly why but for some reason it just resonates with me. So therefore I will continue to be a huge fan and want future installments. Merchandise, stories, any information on the Wizarding world. And that effects me personally. All the other things I say let people live their best lives anyway that makes them feel happy and whole. After all isn’t that what we ALL want?

We seem to be on a slippery slop with rvery new lettre added to the list. I will not be surprised when adult attractions to youth is normalized. It was fine in ancient Rome. Progressives have to keep Digressing to be edgy and challenge norms. J.k. Rowlings is right.

If I were JK I would leave this hot potato to the world of athletics will a born man be a better javilin thrower even with testosterone blocking and is that fair to born women. Will a born woman be better able to push heavy things with the legs and is this unfair to the born men. High level track meets, Olympic sorry let us know what you figure out
