    I will not be watching

    1. Robyn Smith

Totally agree with you. I won’t be watching, won’t be taking my grandkids. Have no idea who all the raves are coming from.

    2. John Leatherby

I have to admit that I was not happy with Ms Zegler’s comments. But I am going to keep an open mind and give the movie a chance since I am and always will be a Disney fan.

        Traitor

        1. Jade VR

A person’s opinions on a movie, or because they don’t match with yours doesn’t warrant being labeled a “traitor.” As we could easily label you as a hater or various other things, but that would be sinking to a level I refuse to.
Just because someone keeps an open mind, that doesn’t make their thoughts on something like this wrong. Don’t be ignorant

Snow White the original film launched the company’s classic films, the remake will mark its end

    1. Jade VR

It might be a flop,.might not be, but a little over dramatic saying it will be the “end ”
I doubt Disney is going to kill it’s legacy of films with this, either way.

  3. sherry

I will sure never watch, nor will my family. all that Zegler said makes her a horrible Snow White. Not what Disney would have wanted.

  4. Paula

No way would I ever watch Zegler being Snow White, not after all she said about Snow White.

  5. Jeff, my family stands with you! We will not be watching!
Not sure who the audience was that raved about this remake. I wonder if the review was made up in hopes to rev up sales?

    1. I totally agree with Jeff, and you. I’ve been trying to leave a comment, ‘they’ won’t let me. No way would I ever see this remake, especially with that woke Zegler and all she said.

      1. Jade VR

These so called rave-reviews are often coming from people involved with the film., from the company itself, and family and friends of said film involved individuals. Often, studios will even “pay” people to be in an audience, and encourage them to make good reviews,.which if they’re getting paid to be there, of course they’ll leave good reviews.
I will not be paying to see this. I MIGHT if it comes to Disney+ or something, but not wasting my money to see if in a theater.

      2. Jade VR

“They” tend to do this a lot. I can’t count how many times a comment I made got “denied” as it be.
Certain words will cause their program to delete a comment, which is a poor way of filtering out spam comments.
But I completely agree. While I enjoyed some of the other live action remakes (Lion King, Jungle.Book, and yes I even like Mulan), this one just doesn’t strike me well. If I can see it as part of a service I already PAY for, I might give it a shot, but I refuse to give them any revenue from theater ticket sales. It’s their multi million dollar mistake.

        1. L

Sorry lion king put me to sleep. The music was flat. Little mermaid was better but again music was flat

          1. Jade VR

It’s fine. Not everyone would like the same thing, nor would I expect you to. It I was just making s point is all. This is just something I will refuse to give them money from ticket sales for. Not worth the price for my tastes.

  6. Disney Fan

    Where was it tested Cali
Of course they like anything wacked

    1. Jade VR

Well of course if audiences are “paid” to go into a theater and watch it, they do tend to give good “encouraged” reviews. Along with the friends, family, and coworkers of people that worked on the film, and are employed by the Disney company.

  7. What happened to the dwarfs? They were regular people including Peter Dinklage. What is this CGI?
Disney waited 2 yrs hoping people would forget the controversing surrounding the actor playing Snow White and the little people denied parts (making it harder for them to get work). No thanks, I’m going to see Despicable 4

  8. lmariel

I believe the reviews are fake. They know they have a bomb on their hands and I believe they will do whatever they can to entice people to watch. Won’t be me.

  9. Deborah

We will not go see this movie..you can keep your woke movies because those of us who love the classics do not want to see them decimated..

  10. No! I will not watch it. The Disney magic seems to be erasing as years go by. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE THE CLASSICS!!!!! WE NEED THE DREAMS AND FAIRY TALES TO BE LEFT ALONE!!!

  11. Sandi

I love the old classics. Please don’t “reimagine” them as you will lose your audience.

  12. sfcpres

It was recently teported the studio just finished re-shoots. Therefore post-production hasn’t been completed. How could a test audience view a very incomplete movie. I’ve seen several articles like this that I believe is just the Disney PR dept at work.

  13. Stephanie

Joining in…not watching it. No interest in the remake. I love the classics.

  14. Watch the new Snow White? If probably rather have a urinary track infection. Sorry guys.

  15. Ex-Disney Fan

Rachel Zegler is a recipe for failure from the very beginning. Disney should of cancelled this film a long time ago and cut their losses. I refuse to watch Zegler on the big screens or support Disney, ever since O’Keefe’s revelation on a Disney Vice-president got recorded on their illegal racial discrimination hiring practices, just to meet their agendas.

    1. Steve

And this is why after Disney and the other media giants are broken up under antitrust, I look forward to the return of the old Studio System and Hollywood being rewound back to to its golden age during the Great Depression and WWII with all movie stars back under contract and complete control of one studio at at time again. Rachel Zegler deserves to be controlled by the studios and put on a leash. MGM will rise again back in the hands of the family of the great Louis B. Mayer as the dream factory with “more stars than there are in the heavens” again. Where Clark Gable became the King of Hollywood and where the greatest star of them all danced down the Yellow Brick Road, Judy Garland.

  16. I would rather poke a fork in my grateful eyeballs than watch anymore woke garbage from Disney. I look forward to the ratings being so bad that nobody can hide them.

  17. Get woke, go broke

    1. Jade VR

      Old and overused.

      1. danielle

can we cast channing tatum as the next black panther…. have to be fair right?

      2. danielle

        just like your mom.

  18. Danielle

Yeah, I got my final verdict on this movie too, hard pass, will never watch it, even when it becomes free

  19. Sarah

I won’t be watching Disney needs to go back to animated movies. It is what they are known for.

  20. Jan K.

Disney needs to leave the classics alone and develop new story lines for this coming generation if they want to try developing a destructive movie industry instead of what most of the adults were raised with as a good vs evil environment. Now they are wanting a world is only fluffy and everything is pink and rosy always for the children. They don’t want to explain how life isn’t fair, and the children are going to have bad things happen in their lives and without seeing dealing with these issues during their childhood they won’t know how to deal with it as adults.

    1. Jade VR

Ok, I can agree with some of your points here, about how the classics were different in our generation, and were more.engaging. I love the classic movies with all my heart.

However, I can’t agree with you on some of the reasoning. You say that the movie industry wants everything to be all “fluffy and pink and rosy” and not teaching children that bad things can happen to them. To be fair, this isn’t really the movie studio’s or Disney’s job to do this. They’re an entertainment industry. The job of education of things like you are saying in the world should be from the parents. It’s become a world where people sit their children down in front of a computer, iPad, or video game system, etc… and that’s their babysitter or way to learn about the world. I guess I come from an old school style of teaching and raising kids. Where interacting and telling them about the good and bad in the world was still a parent’s responsibility. Movies aren’t responsible nor required to educate anyone’s children in this manner.

  21. Jerry Atrix

Time heals all wounds, as the saying goes.
Not in this case. This movie will still flop despite whatever raves “they” give.
Put me down for a hard pass on this as well.

  22. I will not see anything other than the storyline in the original German Fairy tale.
If I wanted current social commentary I would look at X.
I want the old Disney recounting the Fairy tales.

    1. Aunt Polly

If you won’t see anything other than the storyline in the original German fairytale, then I guess you reject Disney’s original animated version of Snow White, because that movie diverts greatly from the original German fairytale.

    2. You do NOT want to see the original German Fairy Tales. You clearly have never read the original Grimm’s Fairy Tales, with birds tearing out people’s eyes, and red hot shoes, enchanted to force the wearer to dance until dead.

You just want Walt’s whitewashed version where ,”The prince shows up and saves everybody. And they all lived Happily Ever After.” AMEN.

    3. Jade VR

The original German “fairytale” version, the original, is NOT Walt Disney’s depiction. The original story is far darker than anything Disney would ever put to an animated classic. Research it a little bit, then question if you still want to see it in its original telling.

      1. danielle

i read the original grimm to my granddaughter. i have also found animated versions of it to show her… she does fine with it.

  23. Funny how everybody who’s not involved with the movie apparently hates what they did with it, but

    NOBODY HAD SEEN IT YET!

Now that there HAS been a test audience that apparently likes it, Everybody who STILL HASN’T SEEN IT says that said viewing was rigged.

Wait and SEE the movie and THEN decide if you’re going to short sell all of your Disney stock just to give them a lesson.

    1. Jade VR

      Key word… Apparently.
If you know anything about the movie industry, which I had explained in an earlier posting, studios use all sorts of “tricks” to push their films out, as something spectacular and audience wowing.
But if you’ve dealt with the film industry (I had some interaction with it all when I worked for Paramount, as a look alike for Star Trek characters years ago), things aren’t always as fair and clean as they might seem. Ever wonder HOW nearly.every movie ad always says stuff like, “this year’s best film of the year!” Or “Audiences and critics are ravong about this film! 5 stars!” when the film isn’t even released yet? It’s called Promotional or Paid Hype. Something many studios do to get such “glowing reviews.”
So what if people are saying they’re not going to see it or disliking it already? Is it really hurting your life THAT much? Is it going to affect what you think or do? Doubtful. So what’s the difference? If they don’t.want to see if, so be it. If YOU want to give it a chance, that’s fine. But don’t make it sound like others have to like it all. Just like the comments. We have our own, leave it at that, instead of acting like others are “wrong” thinking what they will.

    2. L

They are voicing their displeasure due to not liking the main character due to her lack of character and the woke garbage involved in the movie. They don’t need to see it to vote against it with their wallets. Just like I don’t need to taste butt lite to never buy it. They made their beds so lay in them

      1. Jade VR

Well said, and totally agreeable. The poster of the comment seemed to have a very harsh opinion of how people should act. Basically saying no one should have an opinion, unless it’s justified. I guess they’ve never stepped outside and really looked at the world around them, seeing as opinions like this are everywhere. It’s known as choice. Each of us have it, and we can decide ourselves.
Well put into words there, L.

  24. Hannah Evans

No. I’m nit the least bit excited or interested. And the same reaction as Aladdin? I thought that film was awful

  25. I won’t spend a penny on this garbage or Disney . I’ll find something entertaining for the kids to watch or do .

  26. Rocco

    No. I won’t watch it.

  27. Jesus

That’s why I like TheDisInsider because it’s reliable than other websites that just spread fake information or also there’s YouTubers like MZeroh or other ones that I don’t wanna mention because there’s no need that they just simply spread fake information just because they want to and also they’re crying over a fictional character for kids

  28. Jacob Allen

I hope it’s good enough and stays true to the 1937 film.

    1. Tim

It doesn’t we already know that to be the case. Second Disney is only producing garbage because they have no creativity left as that costs money that Igor can’t put in his and Cheapeks pockets.

  29. Michelle

This one is a hard No for me as well. What test audience??? You are messing with Walt Disney’s baby. He was so proud of this film and then they turn it into this big Giant mess. Scrap it and cut your losses.

    1. Aunt Polly

You do realize, I hope, that when this new version is released, Walt’s baby doesn’t suddenly go away forever. It’s not an either/or situation.

  30. Nina Antutti

I will definitely NOT see the new Snow White!! They are ruining a Classic. Ain’t going to see an ugly b***h wanting to play Snow White. She was a beautiful Cartoon character, leave it the way it was!!!😡🤬

    1. Mookie

Ms. Zegler can share my bed anytime, cuz the girl is smokin’ hot. Meanwhile, Walt’s original “fairest one of all” had a nails-on-chalkboard, boner-killer of a voice. That’s right, I said it.

  31. Mike Forrest

    I won’t be watching

  32. Steve

I also like so many others won’t be watching and I gave up on Disney parks after 10 annual pass holder epic here I come

  33. Amber Suttle

I suspected Disney was going down a path I did not want to follow when Aladdin came out and they changed Jasmine from wanting to chose her own husband and marrying for love to wanting to be sultan when it doesn’t fit the time period. Then Little Mermaid when every single thing she was given help with in the cartoon she did herself in the cartoon. Swimming to the surface with legs (please), getting the shell necklace from Vanessa and killing Ursula. I felt like they were giving a message that women should not need to ask for help. Then Snow white happened and Rachel opened her big mouth. I will be watching Daily Wires Snow white not Disney’s

    1. Aunt Polly

Amen, sister. Thanks for admitting that women need to ask for help. That will never change.

  34. Mollie

I love the classic Dusney animation, but I think Rachel’s idea of updating Snow White is a good one! It’s a positive message for girls to see and hear, that when faced with challenges, to rely on one’s inner resources, instead of waiting for a prince to “make things better,” much less rescue. This adaptation is a healthier role model for girls
