I don’t know why Disney feels the need to close classic rides and change them entirely! The could have removed the “offensive bears” and kept the rest. Transparent probably would have gotten a better reception as a new ride, instead of destroying a classic to put in the new ride. Disney has had miss after miss in the last few years. Leave the classics alone!
I completely agree with you! Leave well enough alone & stop catering to the few who object. There are more of us who like things the way they were. And we also have money to spend!
The current mob of woke destructors in the company could not let a CLASSIC attraction alone. They only know how to destroy and know nothing of creating (unless its rubbish). Walt filmed Song of the South to provide black actors work in Hollywood that was very exclusionary at the time, the black actors who were still alive were in favor of keeping splash, the Brer Rabbit museum personnel were in favor of keeping it to keep the stories alive. Nope – the destructors – who serve evil knowingly or unknowingly – had to have their way. Bob Iger and the board are presiding over the decline of the ENTIRE company. Park attendance is down 20% and revenues are only up because of increasing the prices beyond what a normal family can afford.
I would like to copy the above statement and post it a million times. It it entirely true and voices the feelings of millions of people. Please consider the majority of people that visit the parks. We are not WOKE and are coming to enjoy family entertainment, not to go broke or demean the classics!
I 100% agree with this whole statement you said. Most of us who spend our good hard earned money on
Disney are note woke. They made a big mistake!!! I wish I could repost what you said a million times!
Disney CEO Bob Iger was heard to say “This is boring” after he rode Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. Ironic considering he was the one who ordered the closure of Splash Mountain.
Remember to vote for the Dems in November folks. We need four more years of cancelling everything. Millions spent on changing names etc. because it apparently hurt someone’s feelings. Or we can vote for America first. Trump/Vance 2024!!!
Keep cheering for the end of our 250 year democracy, genius. When it happens, people like yourself will get exactly what they deserve, Do you think this is a game? Do you know anything about anything??
Republicans are flailing now and they know it. It’s why we’re seeing a rise in conservative political rants, hand-wringing and venting even in random places like Disney comment forums. The future is Kamala. Look for her at an updated Hall of Presidents, coming soon to a theme park near (or perhaps very far from) you.
In my timeline, John McCain is still living and running as an independent. Just this week he was quoted as saying “I like people who weren’t shot by a member of their own party.”
Except Splash Mountain is not closed and I’ll be enjoying it at WDW for its 75th and at Disneyland for its centennial. Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is not real and never will be.
Just arrived from UK and the ride is dull and boring don’t get it at all didn’t even notice music no animatronics and no visual display very boring bring back splash moutain
Based on the uproarious laughter in response to Deadpool’s Splash Mountain joke in that video, it’s not all that controversial with park guests. It’s very in-character for Deadpool, as well.
That video is fake and the laughter is canned. No one wanted Splash Mountain removed and Splash Mountain is not closed in the US. Thankfully when I take over Disney and make it great again, anyone who wants to visit the parks will have to take a Disney themed bar exam and answering that you’re offended by Splash Mountain will result in disqualification. No Disney parks for you.
My time machine is working great and the best part is knowing that I’ve succeeded in my takeover and Disneyland’s centennial was perfect thanks to the Make Disney Great Again movement led by me and that wokeness has gone extinct. “What would Walt do?” once again is the guiding mantra and no that mantra did not almost bankrupt Disney in the 1980s. Disney will have long since been trust busted and broken up, too with the return of the old Studio System and MGM once again reigning over the box office as the dream factory with “more stars than there are in the heavens” under contract like it once had Clark Gable, Mickey Rooney, Joan Crawford, Gene Kelly, and the greatest of them all: Judy Garland.
Actually, the best part is knowing that your “successful takeover” apparently happens at some conveniently vague future time and hasn’t affected anyone in my current timeline where I’ve already ridden Tiana’s Bayou Adventure dozens of times and attended multiple showings of the updated Country Bear Jamboree show. Ain’t the multiverse grand? We have Deadpool, aka Marvel Jesus, to thank for that.
Your timeline does not exist but I can erase it if it did by giving my younger self a sports almanac to bet on events I know the results of. There’s no such thing as multiversesand you have never been to a Disney park either and wouldn’t be allowed in anyway after I take over I can confirm as Owner and President of Walt Disney Productions in 2055 that Splash Mountain is alive and well and there are no more Marvel or Star Wars or Pixar attractions in the park due to antitrust. The parks will be looking like they did in the 1970s.
I’m dreading having to stand in line this week to ride it with my granddaughter. It used to be one of my favorite rides. The ride itself is good but the rest is boring and the music waiting in line makes me want to pull out my hair, its awful.

As you try to cancel everyone and everything who doesn’t conform to your narrow agenda? Look in the mirror.

Republicans are thriving and it will be great to see Donald back front and center in the Hall of Presidents. That wicked witch has no chance.

Sorry to hear your time machine is busted. LMAO

You’ve been talking about this takeover for several months. What’s the delay? Time machine still in the repair shop?

Judy Garland needs to be spanked. Preferably by Joan Crawford.

Do basic rules of grammar and punctuation still exist in your timeline? Just curious.
