Don’t know about Disneyland, never been, but I had a heck of a lot morw fun at Disney World as an adult. As a kid, you had to go on what the family wanted to go on, do things they wanted to do. As an adult, nobody cares if I want to ridevSpace Mountain til I’m sick and then go to Epcot for a Margarita.
Plus, with Disney now encompassing Star Wars and Marvel…more adults than ever attend the parks.
They say that we complain about in others what we fear about ourselves, makes you wonder about the OP, doesn’t it?
I feel like if you want to want to make nasty comments about others then you need proof about what you are saying is true! I actually feel like adults who to Disney parks without children do so to relive their lives. Disney was always great at being able to provide that and it is no one else’s business if a person chooses to do that.
Well, to help solve the problem, perhaps Disney can make special days during the month for Adults with no children? Not that children could not go, but the parents would be aware that many Adults with no children would be there that day. Adults with children should get a discount every day, even if its just a $5 or $10 discount per adult as long as they are buying at least one youth ticket.
That’s ridiculous! That’s discrimination! According to Walt, Disney is for everyone. With your thinking they should have stroller free days and no ECV days. Disney is here to make money.
I am a Disney Adult and so is my wife. She grew up in Orange County CA, and I grew up in the SF Bay Area.
My parents never took me to Disneyland, so when I graduated High School, I went with a friend to Disneyland for the first time. Every Sunday, I was ready for Disney on TV.
When I took my 2 daughters to Disney parks, they did not enjoy it as much as my wife and I did. We have been going to Disney parks our whole life. Disney adults, typically at this time in life, have more $$$ to spend at Disney parks, pay the price for the upscaled hotels, and the higher priced restaurants. Can a young family afford the 5k+ vacation at a young age, with high mortgage, raising children? Most likely not, if traveling via air, transportation costs, and the cost of items to take home. Also we watch most of the Disney movies, all the StarWars, Marvel and have the Disney+ subscription. I believe there should be Adult days, NO strollers, in the parks, to avoid the crowding and crying children. Maybe 3 days a week Adult Days, so we as Disney Adults can enjoy the parks without children. I have met many Disney Adults at the parks, and they are great people, enjoying the life of Disney!
Wow, you sound like someone who doesn’t have kids. 😒 Parents need time for themselves and need to have fun without their kids from time to time. I should know with having 3 kids, one being an Autistic adult. I never been to Disney anything in my life and I’m 41 years young. And yea I’m married, who’s husband is a welder.
We took our kids to Disney World twice when they were young. We had a great time!
Then 2019 my husband and I went for a week by ourselves then a Disney cruise right after that. The best 2 weeks ever!! The person who wrote that garbage obviously doesn’t have a life. Get over yourself! I LOVE everything Disney!
Disney has special days throughout the year that cater to their adult audience. I have a senior family member with their spouse that frequent the parks as well as Disney cruises and with their large family, take members with them all the time including grandchildren but sometimes they just go there by themselves. I think that people that don’t want adults without children going to Disney are deeply disturbed and too afraid to live a happy and well adjusted life! I feel sorry for them!!!!
The fact that the hater calling Disney goers fat, pronouned, and black speaks volumes about hater personalities. No Disney character ever says things like that. Let me just say that I’m glad people like that do not attend the parks. I go to Disney at least twice every year and while I do see an occasional kid meltdown or entitled Karen, most people there are full of love, fun, and patience, and embody the type of person that older Disney films and stories taught me how to be when I was a kid.
And I have no intention of ever stopping my Disney trips. Let the haters hate, they are not worth listening to.
Haters are going to hate, does it really matter if an adult goes to a Disney Park without a child? Disney Parks are designed for everyone, that was the intention when they were built ,stop trying to be part of the ‘ Cancel’ generation,it just makes a person look kind of dumb and unintelligent
Omg seriously? Disney has always operated everyday for everyone. Before saying adults who go to Disney are Pediphiles, let’s ask what the percentage is of children being abducted at Disney parks.
People are always going to be a kid. No matter how old you are. You should never judge anyone. So what if adults go with no kid. The Disney parks are everyone. We all go to fairs and we all ride the rides. This is a magical place. Why take it away from adults without kids? The one who created the Disney parks was for everyone, no matter of age.
I am a Disney girl. I worked at Disney doing the college program for completion to earn my Bachelor’s degree. I was 40 then and am now going to be 55 and it is not creepy that I love everything Disney especially the Walt created it and wanted it to be. It sounds to me as if it is not us adults who enjoy Disney the way Walt wanted us to that is to “Never grow up”. It is the adults who have issues with us being secure in who we are because they are not so try to make it appear as though we have the problem. I do not have a problem and will forever love Disney the way Walt would’ve wanted it.
You people are nuts. Where do you get off telling adults without kids they should be banned from the parks. Maybe they need to be banned from the parks if they can’t get along with people. We pay just was much for the experience as they do. And no, I’m not a pedi file. It’s a place to relive memories of a wonderful childhood. For me it has always been a safe place for me to travel alone when I want to get away for awhile.
OMG…I don’t even know where to begin!!! I first went to Disneyland as 14 year old and fell in love with it, continued to go with my family and then took our son every year and then our granddaughter. I’m 71 and my husband and I go on our own all the time. We love it there and I would love to have any of those idiots who think we don’t deserve to go there confront me……mind your own business.
I won’t take my grandkids to any Disney park because I don’t want to have to explain why men are dressed in women’s clothes. The standards for cast members have gone straight into the toilet. With tattoos, beards, long hair on males, and other undisneylike things, Disney parks are becoming more and more like what Walt hated about shopping center parking lot carnivals. Add to it the reservation system, and ridiculous prices, I can find other things to entertain myself.
My wife and I are in our late 70’s and we buy our AP every year to spend as much time as possible at Disney World. We feel that it is the safest place to go and walk , to keep active and knowing that if anything happened like a fall or a health issue the staff at DW would have us taken care of in short order. If something like that happened in downtown Orlando or Kissimmee I’m not confident that anyone would even stop to inquire if we needed help.
Seems like the people making ignorant claims have the mind of a pedophile or the thought would have never entered their minds. It’s just people out having a good time. Always be mindful of surroundings, not just Disney World.
The ones I wonder about (probably these same people) are the ones that think their toddler will be able to wait in those long lines. 🤣
I’ve never been to Disney World, only Disneyland. I imagine it’s the same issues tho.

Ouch you seem a bit wound up. For your kids and hard working husbands sake I recommend a valium with a whiskey chaser.

Whenever possible, Disney should ban people who complain about adults, including adults without children, going to Disneyland or Disney World.
That way, the problem makers won’t have to put up with adults at either Disney park.

People who feel that way about Disney adults should keep their kids out of stores, movies, and restaurants that aren’t made for kids.

There are folks like me who love theme parks of all kinds.
Cedar Fair, 6 flags, Disney, United Parks, I love them all.
