In my opinion, I think the ride is good, though it could use a few more effects and animatronics (I’m surprised Naveen wasn’t included apart from the finale). That being said, in my opinion, I’d think Splash is also boring as 1) it was a rehash of like three stories and 2) It also had moments where nothing was happening.
Additionally, Disneyland’s was just dark and seemed half @ssed.
You make some valid points. I never minded the parts where nothing was happening, but relatively speaking, it seems like Tiana will adhere to a similar show structure. Of course, everything is only “for now” and future tweaks could add even more to look at over time. No attraction at Disney is ever truly “finished.”
In Disney’s Defense, with the scenes that were currently present in Splash, there wasn’t much you could do with them if you were trying to salvage them.
Would I say Tiana’s is “Half Finished” like the “WDW Pro” claims? No. Would I say it has potential that needs to be nudged in the right direction as well as a few sprucing up? Absolutely.
That being said, it was sad to see Disneyland’s SM’s condition. Clearly Tokyo and (kinda) Magic Kingdom had more love while Disneyland’s was just some wet dark dump from the 80’s.
From the looks of the video, the ride looks empty of scenery and quite boring. Splash Mountain was a happy ride that you could sing along to at the end. The scenery was bright and beautiful. Don’t know if I care to go on this now, as it looks dark and quiet. Might not hold the attention of small ones.
This is what happens when you splurge on a newer, updated, more sophisticated time machine that doesn’t dwell on the past. Thanks for those reports on your findings, Willie. I’m excited to found out what Disney does in the new galaxy.
The evidence for climate change is the records of the change in climate through thermometer readings, recordings of earlier spring, glacier retreat, reading the rise in temperature from reading ice cores, sea level rising, the ocean getting warmer and ocean acidification.
Ice cores drawn from Greenland, Antarctica, and tropical mountain glaciers show that Earth’s climate responds to changes in greenhouse gas levels.
By 2050, all of Tokyo (including your precious Splash Mountain and TDL) will be underwater.
So, we all are in crippling debt, can’t afford food, all video games, anime, books, etc are banned, we just give up on developing diseases, all of history is either erased or changed, fossils don’t exist and we have to pray to out overlords Steve, Jesus and the anti-woke saviors while minorities are stuck in a purgatory with Mickey Mouse, Elmo and Tiana? Lol
It really pains me to say this but after watching the video I actually completely agree with the social media people who said this ride has “No storyline. No tension. No buildup. No villain. Absolutely empty”
Fact im seeing people with negitive does not to ride this ride. As for me i enjoy the change , because i think like Walt did . Let them build off it , they will add whats missing as they get more imput from guest. But first blame the woke its what been wanting
I hope they’re not considering this finished because this ride looks very incomplete and is in desperate need of a good villain, which the story has, so not sure why he was shut out. What I saw looks like a good start with a ways to go. Oh, and did they get rid of the iconic Mickey profile as you come over the top for the big drop? I didn’t see it, but it could have been the lighting.
Since I get took the helm from Eisner the quality of the Disney product has continuously degraded. The bread and butter of Disney, the movie and particularly animation, has devil ed into cheap entertaining features of poor quality. What we see in the parks is just the results of the company losing it’s way. Unless someone that has similar creativity and is a visionary, the company is going to succumb to a painful long death. With that the company needs to have counterpart of a CFO with the abilities of Roy. The reason Disney was so successful was the team of Walt and Roy. If you listen to their interviews you would understand that dynamic and teamwork was what made Disney the success it was. So, until we see a change to that Disney is in a death spiral and it is getting to the point of no return.

That’s impossible…
The Heat Death Of The Universe occured on August 12th, 2036! So there’s no way you could’ve been there a month ago on August 3, 2067 at WDW somehow…

Nah, you must be in some crappy universe where Tronald Dump wins and become No-No German Leader…
From what I can tell, in the future, we end up destroying Earth with global warming and wars, so we had to evacuate to Galaxy 42-689…

I think it looks great and I can’t wait to experience it in person.

Needs Dr. Facilier’s “Are ya ready?” as the car ascends for the final drop.

You may think like Walt but you talk and write like a 2nd grader. Keep trying though, one day you’ll be a real boy

I think TBA is belly up and ready to be flushed like the dead gold fish it is.
Splash was iconic and filled with music and adventure.
It’s okay though, there is always universal and if in Cali there’s universal and knottsberry
Phillip
They should have left the Mountain alone and built a separate ride!!!!!!!
