Filoni has proven he has good idea of Star Wars ever since the Star Wars: Clone Wars. Sure not everything has been amazing but Filoni knows and cares the universe and doesn’t antagonize fanbase like Kennedy.
Oh for fuck’s sake….a bunch of limp dick pseudo-fans hiding in Mom’s basement who can’t accept anything just a little different from the same thing over and over again.
I’m in my 70s, saw the original Star Wars in the theater before most of these whiners were born.
The Acolyte is different… But still better than the final trilogy.
Star Wars was a special part of my childhood and to see it being abused and misused was painful for me. After the last few movies, I felt that Star Wars was dead, mishandled by those drawn to its fame and abandoned by George Lucas to the corporations, who were clueless on what to do with the franchise.
With the release of the Mandalorian, I didn’t have much expectations going into the show. The 1st episode alone rekindled that spark in me that Star Wars was still alive. It brought back joy and childhood memories when we imagined ourselves back in the Star Wars universe.
This is all thanks to Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau who are fans that still love Star Wars and want to share it with the younger generation. On the opposite end is Kennedy’s group who wishes to use Star Wars’ fame as a platform for their own propaganda. Is it any wonder why Filoni’s vision for Star Wars is successful; while, Kennedy’s manipulation of the franchise is gathering failure and hate?
I hope that Bob Iger takes notice and makes quick changes soon.
It’s been said that Filoni ok’d the Acolyte scripts, but he is the last best hope with Favreau that we fans have. Do not have any hope that Iger will do the right thing cause he is part of the DEI problem also
Dave Filoni seems like a straight A student next everyone else involved in live-action and animation. The catch though, is that everything is currently being based on a curve. Everyone else’s failing, save Andor/Rogue One that he had no involvement in, makes him by default look better than he really is.
However when you compare him to the best writers, who have done Star Wars books and comics. You find out really quickly that Dave Filoni is basically plagiarizing superior authors works (typically steals their ideas and gives it to his own characters, but often will also shift villains written to being foils to different characters and makes them villains to his oc characters) and severely dumbing it down.

Filloni sucks too. What has he done other than Clone Wars that’s worth anything. Get all these people out of this franchise.
