They will be testing additional added services including an all day lightning lane per park or universal lightning lane for all parks with no time exclusions and no need to book slots. These will be priced accordingly.
So they’re making it like fastpass+ used to be except we have to pay for it. Wonder what this will cost us. At least it’s a small step in the right direction.
There is something wdw uppers havent understood yet but cms get 100% as much as guests! Most folks do not use the app and are already paying enough! people want to be on vacation. FP worked bc it was tangable and you didnt need the app that doesnt function 100% of the time. There was also kiosk everywhere for people whom just wanted to enjoy their day but use fp. Also you didnt have to pay now your paying and half the tourists on vaca plus most of your aps dont use the app for multi reasons. As a manager i know and have seen it. I am on your side aps! Besides worrying about an app or virutual queue or a timeframe takes you competely out of your having a day off from your life/your on vacation. Your at wdw not to worry about abcd dont you do that enough!?! Some people i know dont even have their devices w them they lock the device in the hotel security box and your expecting them to use an app?!?! Really!?!
Oh and can you please go back to plastic ap passes or let the register see the ap on your band it does it job to get you in the gate etc it should be able to be tapped for a discount your driving aps and cms nuts w that change… believe me its the #1 complaint besides this nonsense.
To add to your awesome pt cindy das worked better when there wasnt LL entering willy nilly! FP had a timeframe and it was stuck too bc that was the time on your pass now its whatever! No its not whatever bc i paid for it your backing up a line! Oh and believe me i am a non app ap and i am in the majority. I agree also w the band is everything but not ok to prove your ap to buy merch is bonkers. Maybe test these new things out to see how many will use it vs just assuming or even better do exactly this change stuff wo warning and not care. Love to see how many people go to your parks then esp when seasonal parks know how to run things better they might not be open all yr like you or uni but no one gets screwed over, the rules are simple, the assistance pass is a questionaire alt entrance, and its cheaper to go there! I am sorry from this ap you cms get the brunt of it!
Fast Pass worked great. So basically this is back to the FP but now we have to pay. Come on … I already have to save twice as long to go now. Do you REALLY have to charge for this? Can you give us a break anywhere???
On top of the fact as others mentioned above and you bring up the cost FP wrked fine bc they were paper and the app is less efficant plus noone truly uses it! I mean unless people want their phones to go haywire and crash all day. The website though wrks fine more should be aloud to be done through the site as well if this is the way things are going. But FP wrked so way no cost, rarely a wait bc back then that line was 30 mins or less now its ?? And sadly das is still on it, and FP kept to the time on the pass now everyone like someone mentioned above people just go i paid for this i can go whenever… no you cannot and should not be aloud to do so… but unlike in the past w FP no cms see the #s for LL or note the return time is valid like in the past.
Disney saw that other places were making money on FP, while they were giving it away for free, so they switched up to be like Universal, etc. We pay an exorbitant amount for tickets just to enter the park, and now are having to pay to ride the rides. Why then are we paying so much to get into the parks? If you’re going to charge for the FP, then you really should reduce the entrance fee a bit. You’ll still have a captive audience when it comes to meals, souvenirs, and special add-on services. The original idea for Disneyland was to give families (mostly middle-class) somewhere to vacation together. Now only the affluent an do that.
Yep 100% FP was great, you know you’ve got 3 things to do now it’s being turned in to a needless money maker and you can only book 3 days in advance. Disney have gone backwards instead of forwards

it will work like the old fast pass. once you use up the original 3 then you can book 1 at a time
