So what if you are a family of 5? Your family will no longer be able to ride at least 2 rides together. Disney wants you to fork out $$$ for lightning lane passes. This is the only reason for the change. People may have been “cheating” under the old system. Just like all big money making places screw everyone else who has used the old system. We were blessed we qualified for the old system, so grandma and grandpa paid for entry tickets so our family of 5+2 could ride together. Grandpa rarely could ride. Grandma only went on slow rides. Now, without buying LL passes or doing the standby lines, we can never ride with family again. Thanks.
This has been so abused in the past by those who just don’t WANT to stand in lines versus those who CAN’T stand in lines due to their disability. Disney has always done a tremendous accomodation for those who get seizers/fits or are truly disabled. Let’s keep it that way and stop the abuse.
It’s more about the money than anything else. If they cared about being fair. They wouldn’t have started Genie plus and lightning lane to begin with. Everything there is super expensive. The cast members aren’t trained on disabilities, only to deny people to keep their jobs. How fair is that?
