Which would you prefer all the Cast members follow protocol no matter what could happen in this case a little one being killed. Or a Cast member going what he or she thought was right to save the life of that little one. You decide I did and that Cast Member should be proud for what he did ! The folks who feel the other way I feel sorry for you !!
We get it: kids get excited. But after Disney theme parks have been around for over 65 years, parents should have gotten the memo that controlling their kids’ behavior is vital for their safety. I don’t care that some folks think CMs have no right to pick up a child. I care that the child’s parent wasn’t holding on to them.

It was a child, no true sense of decorum or understanding of “proper” behavior in the circumstances. Be kind; and the cast member is to be commended.
