There is not only one security point for the parks and downtown disney. There is one at the main gate, one for the tram, one for downtown disney, one for toy story parking lot and one in grand California. Idk what you’re talking about 🤣
Disney charges a lot of money for entry tickets and can open additional security lanes or check points, reducing long lines. Universal studios is waiting.
Well if certain groups or types of people didn’t keep trying to bring guns in there, none of this would not be necessary. You can not open up more security lanes without having trained staff to man them. Since they have never been even come close to the staff numbers they had pre-plandemic so I don’t think you should count on that. Listen, the parks are dying so this is all moot. If they are somehow able to survive within the next ten to 20 years you’ll just get a continuous full body scan while in the parks.
Have… have you been there recently? They’re in no way dying and the number of staff at security checkpoints simply depends on the time of day. Late in the day there are less, but in the morning every single “lane” has two tables with two security staff members. There’s usually, what… 10 of these lines? Some of them don’t even have lines because people don’t see a line is open. Park is always packed beyond what is reasonable; it’s harder to navigate than it ever was pre-covid. Source being I used to live in California and visit there a decent number of times; twice had an annual pass. Now I’m in Texas. I’ve been three times since covid (10/2022, 10/2023, 12/2023).
I can’t note any reduction in staff outside of performing/street acting staff. Those were markedly reduced following covid for obvious reasons. I think they’re finally recovering as I was seeing more of them on the last trips, but for a while they were simply gone.
You obviously have no idea what you are talking about. I go 5x per year and can assure you that the parks have more guests than they can comfortably handle.
Still pondering on how body scans and property searches would stop an entitled grown adult from removing his clothes and damaging an automated ride attraction. Perhaps a no fly list or a psychological questionnaire? Maybe some giant coat hooks and lockers for the ones that need to leave their fragile victimhood and entitled impulses at the front gate.
Disneyland resort has 3 security entrances, so that’s false and the bowls are nothing new, the used to have it before. This page is like the Disney National inquirer.
Stop complaining. You’re at the Happiest Place on Earth! It’s hardly an inconvenience compared to strict gun control. This is the solution to concealed carry.

It seems so many things have to get worse before it gets better. Honestly, D.Land knew this was going to happen but didn’t plan ahead.
