We went to Disney back in November of 2022, Blizzard Beach was closed for refurb…opened like a week after we left and immediately closed again for no reason, that I know of. I’d hate to see Blizzard Beach go, it’s my favorite but they’re going to do what they want to do.
BB is just a concrete monster and blazing hot, TL was ALWAYS the better of the two… I do remember RC as a kid. Shade is always nice in the summer heat, a huge advantage at TL..
I have to literally stop reading your newsletters because of the many pop up ads you allow.
I cannot complete the 1st paragraph before it’s covered in ads/commercials.
You know what red neck I wish Disney would move out of the Florida swamp land and move to a state that really wants them and the watch unemployment and your texes go thru the roof which you won’t have one anymore you bald headed communist.
Not my fault you Diversity, Equity and Inclusion goofballs hate god and country and have driven all the normal, straight people away from Disney. Go choke on a BLM doo rag
Shame on ITM saying this park closed for “No reasonn”. And the so called Disney Fams who say the same thing and also agree.. True Disney Park Nerds (ME!) Kmow why they”mysteriously”closed… because they found Brain 🧠 eating bacteria in its natural water source.
You all whom say lagoon better must like having nothing to do and minimum space to do it in! Btw there is more shade @ bb and space. There is also more to do i can spend all day at bb vs lagoon is 2 hrs not worth it plus majoroty rules wdw knows most folks including all cms prefer bb. Dont believe me go on the day bb closes there as miserable as all of us whom prefer bb. Btw you know why bb is closed there isnt enough staff its not condemed so stop with your really horrible info. We are been informed they are going back to full time precovid hrs next yr if not by end of this summer.
The data doesn’t lie. Typhoon has ALWAYS had 200k to 300k MORE annual visitors than BB (pre covid & post covid), so it clearly is more popular. In fact, only Chimelong Bay in China has had more (pre covid only, though!)
Data aside, I think anyone who has visited both can attest that Typhoon has better shade & space.
But, I do agree with you that BB isn’t condemned. And, once 2025 rolls around & on-site guests get a free water park day, both parks could be jam packed. (If 4000 rooms turn over each day, and each room has 4 occupants, that would mean 16k daily water park visitors…well over the total capacity of both TL and BB!)
The date lies when its only post covid #s when bb has been shut half the time but cms and guests prefer bb its a fact #s do not count anyways… if they did the hershey would be considered the best park around and we are only open seasonal!
I remember bringing our children there and two girls four and eight. Probably 28 years ago. Magic Kingdom the big thing was fenced off. Some massive line of people waiting to get in. It was an ordeal just the kids as a place unless you stay in the hotel on the grounds you staying we stayed a place outside the magic Kingdom at a breakfast buffet the two little girls that need much we drive there I’m parking a lot and wait for the shuttle with like 50 to 75 roses seats when you got on that and then you rode around for like maybe 15 minutes to get to the monorail thingy to take you into the park and it’s like you spent two hours getting there. Too big what an ordeal. Older daughter lives next to Orlando with her husband and two kids they get in for free. They’re both busy working is eating two other things kids are three and six it’s Florida the weather is nice down there but what you want is always like once is when the kids are on spring break or not during the summer I want some spring break it was really cold there Florida is weird state with the weather Illinois is even more extreme but it’s not always warm there and places are close for us Wisconsin dells Cypress gardens Florida those are small and they’re better
Theme BB after Frozen and have it focus on kids under 12. Keep some attractions for younger kids at Typhoon Lagoon but add more extreme ones and have it focus more on teens.

I’d be happy if they condemned the entire Disney corporation and sent all those purple-haired weirdos and their DEI packing.
