I am sorry Aunt Polly but it is in one of my books on Walt he did see it when the making of it was complete. He told the Imagineer that it was his favorite. Right now I have the book packed away getting ready for a move so I cannot give the name of the book or its author !
I know what you’re referring to, and what Walt actually saw was an early version of the show that Imagineer Marc Davis presented as an attraction meant for Disney’s Mineral King Ski Resort, which ultimately fell by the wayside and was never developed. Since Walt died shortly after that presentation, he never saw the final version of the show that opened five years later in Walt Disney World. So, technically, we’re both right.
The only things “offensive” are those who now run Disney. They need to stop pushing their pc down everyone else’s throats. That’s why we stopped going in 2020…..that and all the ridiculous covid crap they forced. And we’ve been going to Disney literally since they opened and have had resident passes since they were a thing. We spent a lot of money there every year, because we went a lot and always stayed at the resorts.
Well after I take over Disney and make it great again, I will eliminate wokeness as part of the Make Disney Great Again initiative where everything is done by asking “What would Walt do?” again and will cater only to normal families. I will know I’ve done my job when anyone like Steamboat doesn’t feel welcome and boycotts. Disney can survive without anyone woke. Walt was unwoke.

But don’t their 12 theme parks also contribute to their profit? 🤔
Steamboat Willie
10, given they don’t own Tokyo Disneyland/DisneySea…
Kungaloosh
The changes should be very popular. This attraction is long overdue for an update.

We got a look at the Sun Bonnet Trio earlier this month. It appears they’ve made new animatronic faces and fur. They look stellar in my opinion.

New renditions of Disney songs??? So more IP instead of original fun & campy tunes. I wonder if Zippty Do Dah will be one of these songs.
Aunt Polly
The original show included IP. The bears sang the Davey Crockett theme song.

Wow one out of a whole set. I stand corrected.
