Yes, the show would not be the same without Jenna. I thought she was amazing in the role. From the beginning with the piranhas in the pool to her epic dance scene. Her deadpan expressions are spot-on. I would like to see Christina Ricci reincarnated and play a more macabre role. Thanks ITM

I have to agree with the others here 1 with out Jenna you have no show, 2 Netflix really does suck and is constantly canceling good show with good storylines for dumb sh!t no one wants to watch. If my son didn’t watch it I’d cancel it also. At least very least if ur gonna end a show give us a freaking ending man seriously!
The problem is, we are so used to seeing our shows after a brief ( 3 or 4 months) break. Now we get COVID or WRITERS STRIKE, as a reason for the horribly long season breaks. Most people are starting to get involved in other series that don’t have cgi to the max insufferably long production periods. Kinda funny you’d think that in and of itself would speed up those production periods, but go figure they’d make them longer.
I am really waiting for the next few seasons of Wednesday. My wife and I love this show. I watched the old versions of the Adans Family many years ago and loved them then too.
They might consider producing season 2 and 3 back-to-back assuming they have the bulk of the writing done. This will reduce cost dramatically, keep Ortega from having to make multiple unpredictable commitments, and keep her and the others cast members from aging two or three years between seasons. Otherwise season three might end up being the college years.
I don’t believe Wednesday will be coming back. I think it’s Season 1 and done. Because 3 – 4 years between seasons is completely mental. The show will become pointless. The continuity will become lost and meaningless. All of the characters will be adults. The series will lose its appeal.
