You went to a water park on a wkend what did you expect forget the smallest bb seriously needs to reopen come on wdw do it for not only guests but cms that prefer it!
Disney created the problems, first no park for several APs. Then give people free tickets for water parks. Then close one water park and only have one water park at a time open. They created the problem and then ask the guest who are paying twice the price of other parks to go somewhere else. Put some weekend days back into some of the APs, so locals have some weekends at the parks, other wise they will continue to pay for the water parks, so don’t give guest free access to them and open both TL and BB from April to Oct, every year, and start now to add a 5th park, people have been saying it for 10 years, it’s time you listen.
There definitely should be a # restriction set on how many guests are allowed into each water park at a time. Once it gets to a certain point, I would think that it would become dangerous…too many chances for an accident to happen. And Disney, why in the world aren’t both water parks open during the same time frame…April through October?! As popular as they are, may be time to consider another water park. People come to Florida partly for the sun, so use that.
How has the state of Florida not put a capacity limit on the park? I mean isn’t there a fire marshal somewhere who should have put a max capacity on that thing? Or did Disney just skip over that with their own fire marshal?
Have you not seen the fireworks at Magic Kingdom? That is 100% a firecode and they get away with it. Small fires have happened. But on a massive scale, just realize you’re on an island and most people don’t know backways and cast exits out of that place. Think of the mass panic towards the front.
It is silly to think or state that there is no capacity limit anTL. Just because there is no reservation requirement means nothing. Long before reservations were in place parks would hit capacity and turn people away at the gate. Usually MK sometimes Epcot, hell even whatever they call the studios now. And yes even TL and BB, happened all the time during summer break. You’ve never truly experienced a crowd until you’ve been in a park at capacity.
The free first day waterpark pass for resort guests is a joke for those flying in. You would be lucky to get to your resort by 11 AM. Now add on an hour to get to the waterpark.
There definitely needs to be a limit on attendance. Nothing like taking your kids into the wave pool and having idiots slamming into your kids and having them slammed into the concrete pool floor. I still have passes for those waterparks that have not expired.
Interesting. Considering Disney is overcrowding it’s Waterpark then not offering refunds to the very few people who want one.
I remember back in the day, if the parking lot was full, they stopped admitting people into the park.
Now they are diverting the excess cars to DS garage and over crowding the park.
Anything for a buck.
