So then how exactly do you get from Disney Springs West Side bus stop, where Lynx will drop you, to the resorts? Lynx buses don’t go to the resorts. And Disney buses are located at a different part of Disney Springs, and also are not available during those early and late hours Lynx will be operating.

Just walk in front of Cirque du Soleil (where Lynx drops you off) walk up that alley of stores, turn right at Planet Hollywood, and behind Coca Cola store are Disney bus load zones to all Disney Resorts. 5 minute walk.

Also, Disney transportation does not allow luggage on their busses, so how are you going to get your luggage to your resort?

Doesn’t sound seemless to me carrying luggage sounds likr a ball ache

If they don’t go to the resorts, it just doesn’t work.

Disney buses to all Disney resorts are located between Coca Cola Store and Orange garage. Easy 5 minute walk.

Every 30 minutes is too long a wait and as already mentioned if it doesn’t go to the WDW resorts it useless for about 90% of travelers. Maybe spend more time finding ways to replace the magic bus or make that an option again

now, they just need to go to the resorts. This doesn’t sound convenient to me. Luggage, and transferring to resort buses at Disney Springs isn’t going to work.

Why the veiled shot at the end targeting the governor? Otherwise, agree with the other comments that this sounds like way too much hassle!

While this is great idea, I’m going to echo what many people have already said in here, it’s not convenient. Six years ago you, if staying on property, could a ONE bus connection to your resort. While it makes it to Disney Springs, you still have to transfer to get to your resort on property, or if you’re lucky, walk to your hotel near Disney Springs.
In my opinion, Disney needs to partner with LYNX and build a light rail line from the airport to the WDW resorts on property.

Bright line is developing that line now. It will follow almost the same route as this Bus line and will eventually go to Tampa.

Key word, ‘developing’. It’s going to take many, many, many years for that to be built. By that time, only the wealthy will be able to visit Disney World.

This sounds amazingly convenient for a family who’s been at Disney for a week-long vacation with multiple small children. I can’t imagine they would possibly have any luggage to take from the airport to a hotel or to a hotel back to the airport? Brilliant! I know the first thing I do when I land in Orlando for a Disney trip with all of my things is think gosh I would love to go to the mall. 🤔

Disney made a big mistake getting rid of the Magical Express and luggage service. It was one of the best amenities they offered. My husband will not go back. We are vacation club members but are now using points to go to other destinations. Prices go up and they keep removing services that make Disney a magical place for us.

Disney transportation for IDs any luggage. Imaging thinking you could take this bus to your resort after transferring at Disney Springs only to find out you can’t even get on a bus to your resort due to Disney’s rules. Until Disney changes their policy to allow luggage ones buses to/from Disney Springs, this service is all smoke and mirrors.

Many (like 15) years ago, there was a Lynx bus that stopped across the street from what was then the main bus area at Downtown Disney. We used it to get from the airport during a last-minute trip when we were too late to book on Magical Express, and I used it a few times when traveling to Orlando for business and checking out the parks during my down time. We also used it when we were only going to Disney for part of our trip and needed to get over to Sea World or Universal. It took forever, and the Disney bus drivers were very cranky at anyone bringing luggage onboard – which you would have to do with this scenario. I’m someone who uses public transportation often, but I can’t imagine this being very useful or user-friendly.

Pretty sure you can’t take luggage on the Disney busses.
