Large teams and large budgets can hinder animated movies because they are created by committee and under executive scrutiny, which hinders creativity. Some of Disney’s best films were created by “B Teams”, including Lilo and Stitch, and The Lion King. That means they had more modest teams and modest budgets – by Disney standards, still large by industry standards by not so large that it hindered individual creativity or put the films under the microscope of executives (at least not during production, AFTER Lilo and Stitch became a success, Disney executives fired its directors, but it worked out because they went to Dreamworks to create the How To Train Your Dragon franchise).
I hope it is a false rumor. Enough with pushing kid movies into this realm of thinking. Not all parents want these type of movies to have to explain later it’s not their beliefs.
I mean, it is quite necessary to let kids know that eventually their bodies will change. Plus, I doubt these parents (or the school for that matter) would explain this topic when the time comes.
Maybe there shouldn’t be kid movies about Christmas either. Why should non-Christian parents have to explain later to their kids that it’s “not their beliefs”?
Why should you have to explain that it’s not your belief? BECAUSE IT’S NOT YOUR BELIEF! You don’t get to set the rules for others because it’s not your belief. Get over yourself! Also, Disney needs to stop making ever animated movie about being gay or trans. These groups are such a minority, it doesn’t happen in every relationship and it shouldn’t happen in every Disney movie.
Thanks, you just helped make my point for me. “You don’t get to set the rules for others because it’s not your belief.” Therefore, Disney doesn’t have to stop making animated movies about certain lifestyles simply because your own belief system doesn’t embrace them. It’s your job, not Disney’s, to police your own family and decide what your kids watch. Also, Hollywood storytelling doesn’t have to conform to your perception of what the majority of society wants to see. Sounds like you should take your own advice and “get over yourself.”

I feel like they should raise their voice about lgbtq-friendly things because it’s not bad to be whoever you’re attracted to ❤️❤️
John
It’s a false rumor. Riley in this film is 13. The other girl (Named Val Ortiz) is 18. I’m pretty sure Riley just looks up to Val.

I hope it’s true 🥵🥵

I’m excited for “Inside Out 2”. My favorite Pixar movie is “Toy Story”.
