So Carmen kept pushing for the re-theme, obviously Disney said no because it was the most popular ride, she saw her opportunity with the George Floyd situation to change it and now the ride that was considered iconic and the worlds most popular ride looks like a cheap Rainforest Cafe. Disney needs new leadership. Bring back Splash Mountain.
I mean, the ride has definitely seen better days. The theme hadn’t been decided yet, and they didn’t even announce it after the news George Floyd’s death was revealed but rathe from a petition online.
And as for the Rainforest Cafe comparisons, while I see the companions to a rainforest, it’s definitely not cheap lol.
