Considering that Spiderman as a movie property is still Sony’s even with the MCU inclusion deal, even if it tops $1 billion etc, Disney’s share isn’t worth as much as if they weren’t sharing a significant chunk of the profits with Sony. While it might create some MCU buzz, that’s not going to carry the MCU to new magical profitability heights.
