While the Disney parks are infamous for their wide range of thrilling rides, classic dark rides, and incredibly immersive lands, the nighttime shows held at each park are some of the most cherished and special experiences among guests. This is why Main Street U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom, is so crowded at night, with thousands of guests waiting to get a good spot to watch Happily Ever After. The same can be said about Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with guests waiting hours in advance just to secure a great seat for the show.

Disneyland Paris is no different, but over the weekend, guests were warned about the lack of fireworks in the show despite their waiting.

Disneyland Paris is one of the most popular international Disney resorts, as well as one of Europe’s most successful tourist locations. The resort features two theme parks, Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios, each one offering fun and magic around every corner. Along the way, guests will discover classic Disney rides and attractions as well as totally new and unique experiences, all working together to make Disneyland Paris one unforgettable destination.

Disney Dreams acts as Disneyland Park’s premier nighttime spectacular, complete with vibrant colors, incredible music, and of course, fireworks that illuminate the entire resort. However, Disney recently began tinkering with the show, adding an extra performance for guests who might’ve missed the first. There is, unfortunately one key difference, and it’s that the second showing of Disney Dreams does not include fireworks.

Ahead of the show’s start time, Disneyland Paris warned guests about the lack of pyrotechnics, ensuring they would not be disappointed.

This warning could be heard in a video shared by DLP Report (@DLPReport) on X (Twitter).

15 min warming for the premiere of the extra performance of Disney Dreams, specifying there will be no fireworks or special effects:

“Disneyland Park invites you to experience an extra performance of our nighttime spectacular Disney Dreams,” states the announcement over the park’s speakers. “This specific performance will not feature fireworks or special effects.”

While slightly disappointing for some guests, there will be another performance of Disney Dreams that will feature all effects. As we mentioned earlier, nighttime shows are some of the most popular and important features of Disney parks, bringing in crowds from all around the world just to watch Disney magic come to life.
