Then they need to make sure a lot more food is available for purchase and at more reasonable prices than normal.

I’m sure they will charge for parking as well. Any chance to get their hamds on your mo ey, tbey will grab it. (Pun intended)

The No Bag Policy tracks. With as much as Disney has been attacked in recent years, I get them trying to be safe. The cost of those tickets? That’s the outrageous part. Disney keeps getting more greedy every year. Walt is probably rolling in his grave.

    3. Charles Elias Disney II

Food will be at regular vendor price for Honda Center. It is in Honda Center hands. Disney has nothing to do with Honda Center pricing.

    4. Monica

This is only for one part of the convention. It has nothing to do with with the parks.

    5. Winter

It’s for the D23 convention NOT th me parks

It seems like Disney is trying to dig into your pockets more, it’s truly sad how they become the most expensive place on earth than the Happiest. Disney truly has taken the fun of going to the parks of having to worry about what you can afford to spend.

T that is not Disney it is Honda’s Policy. Disney is not in charge of Honda at all.

Don’t get through money grabbing claims. For $20 more, you get a separate ticketed event guarantee seat and save 4+ hours for other panels and convention floor.

I like this new setup. Going to be blasted by Sunday evening

Kelly Ripa and Miley Cyrus are considered “esteemed guests”? lol

      They are both Disney Legends.

I wonder how much merchandizing sales will be lost due to this

I would be unable to attend! I am a diabetic with a service dog and walk with a cane. So I have a cane in one hand and a dog in the other. My mini backpack carries my medical supplies, ID, other items necessary when you have a service dog.

Those are allowed entrance. That has always been Honda Center Policy. This is not Disney, but Honda Center. Read the rules of Honda Center about bags.

    2. Charles Elias Disney II

The only event happening in Honda Center is Speaker Panel. If you’re not going to speaker panel, you are not affected.

    3. Gregg

There are multiple laws in place for people with disabilities and service dogs. They can not deni you, your dog or the bag. You would have lawyers pounding on your door to represent you if they did.

    Now I know why I bought a Harley Davidson…

ok so no larger bags at d23 how does this affect the parks? nothing stated about anyting other than the event ant the honda center and article states that bag policy is from venue!

    1. Charles Elias Disney II

No bag policy only affects Honda Center Speaker Panel.

  9. Certainly will not attend there with this stupid new rule…people pay alot of money to proudly show off their favorite characters ..they should be happy to check each bag (as in all the disney parks.) This will definitely keep most away!!! Where do you put things that you buy at event on you head!!! Omgosh you need to go to car several times to drop off your purchase!!! Gook luck….this is a terrible move…STUPID!!
    Dr

The rule applies to those going to Speaker Panels. No bag policy does not effect the rest of the convention centers, only Honda Center

  10. No bag policy??? Whete do we put (extremely overpriced merchandise) on our heads. !!! Smart move!!! Oh yes you need to go to your car (what!) Each time you purchase something!!!

    1. Winter

It’s for the D23 convention! NOT the parks, read the article

Then I wouldn’t buy a damn thing and let them suffer the lose and have to take everything back with them so you buy something from inside and you have to leave and take it home or put it in your car and then go back inside that is the biggest bunch of bullshit I’ll ever heard hope they lose money

  12. Some one who looked up the honda cente4

The Honda center is a very stupid place to put part of convention. To many rules/ restrictions.

    1. Charles Elias Disney II

Lots of seating for Speaker Panel than being cramped in some small room.

  13. Elsine

The more I learn, the less likely I am to go to Disney World. In fact, you couldn’t tempt me if you gave me a free pass!

It’s a shame that Disney is making decisions that eventually will put them out of business it used to be a happy place now its a very expensive place that normal families can’t afford

  16. Winter

Read the article people! It’s not for the parks it’s for the D23 convention at the Anaheim convention center. It’s only if you go to the panels at the Honda center. It’s Honda centers policy of no bags not Disney’s. Read the article before you start blasting disney for a policy that isn’t there’s

  17. Sen

ummm… this only pertains to events/panels/experiences at the honda center(honda center policy), but you could still have bags/backpacks at the anaheim convention center… so if you’re not going to the honda center then you’re good, but if you are then you better minimize.. ahaha.. misleading article title.
