This brand-new show will be held at Tokyo Disneyland later this year and will primarily feature the park’s version of Cinderella Castle. Despite most Disney resorts featuring their own unique castle, Tokyo’s main castle is incredibly reminiscent of the one found at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World. Nighttime shows are some of the most popular attractions at any of the Disney theme parks, with shows like Fantasmic! and Happily Ever After being fan favorites.
Just like Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disney features a central hub, though it’s called World Bazaar instead of Main Street U.S.A. This location features retro-inspired locations, like a 1950s American diner.

The Tokyo Disney Resort opened in 1983, becoming the very first international Disney resort. Originally envisioned as just one theme park, the Tokyo Disney Resort has grown into one of the greatest theme park destinations in the world over time, featuring two incredible parks that are filled to the absolute brim with fun, magic, and creativity.
Guests will find a lot of things to do and explore at both Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea, ranging from pirate adventures to thrilling roller coasters. Speaking of roller coasters, Tokyo Disney is actually gearing up to close its version of Space Mountain later this year.

The ride will permanently close as we know it in July, making way for a brand-new version as part of a massive expansion project in Tomorrowland. This project is expected to not be completed until 2027 and will cost hundreds of millions of dollars. Concept art looks incredibly promising, giving the iconic roller coaster a totally new exterior and aesthetic.
With only a few months left, wait times have skyrocketed for Space Mountain, reaching well past three hours. Space Mountain is one of the most recognizable and iconic roller coasters in the world, with each version being extremely popular. However, the Tokyo Disney Resort has never seen crowds like this, and as the ride’s closure gets closer and closer, wait times will most likely continue to rise.
Have you ever been to Tokyo Disney? What’s your favorite Disney theme park roller coaster?
