    Hey Jess do some research of your own that isn’t Disney biased before telling someone to do their own research. Zippity isn’t based off Zip Coon. It’s just a jumble of words. And the stories DO come from African folk tales

      Hey Anon… try to read properly before accusing someone of not doing her research. She used the phrase “it is said” – aka, it’s ALLEGED – thereby making it a factual statement.

    She used alleged because it was from a viewer on IG. Meanung its not known what the influencer said. So read next time. Claiming a song is based off something by using biased sources isn’t research. The fact you only wanted to accuse me of not reading means 99% of my comment was ignored.
