Disney should be required to pay each guest in line $100 that was stopped for ride maintenance. This should implemented by Florida State law.

It appears Disney has stopped doing regular ride maintenance that should required by law.

What proof do you have about maintenance? This site is indeed become propaganda against Disney

Why report on this? To stir up drama? You’re routinely reporting on the happenings at Disney and know that rides have difficulties all the time. This is nothing new but to get guests ticked off. Guests will continue to vent frustration in TikToks YouTube videos etc. why not report on the risks of waiting in a long line. Recommend alternatives. Disneyland shuts down rides when ignorant guests litter on the rides or onto the tracks of rides causing a shutdown. This may be the case at Disney World as well. Many of these rides are run from a computer and we all know computers need an update or reboot periodically. Please toss your readers some pixie dust.

I think she her real name is Karen.

          Yep!

      3. Sara

        I second that.

I agree and will make note of that at the next board meeting.

Machines are serviced all day long, maintenance nightly, and the intricate ride systems are never an issue when we do maintenance on them. You get a gold star! May your ideas manifest into the wisdom that is Disney’s future!

Once again you are posting only negative stories about Disney. What happened to the Magic, Entertainment etc. You are deliberately trying to discourage people from visiting. You are in DeSantis’s pocket. Shame on you.

I love Disney World, however, no ride is worth 3 hours of your time.

It’s a great ride, not sure about 3 hours most rides aren’t that great. Have to be strategic in when you select jumping in line. Disney will give Lightning Lane passes to everyone who is at a certain point in the line if it closes from my experience.

I’ve been on that ride. It’s just okay. No possible way I’m waiting in any 3 hour line for it.

  6. Each person should have been given a pass for any ride they want. Three hours is too long to be totally lost for a ride they couldn’t even enjoy. It wouldn’t have cost Disney anything.

I doubt it’s the ops people randomly hitting the E stop for a break.

  8. Melanie

I’m one of the few people who have actually got on without it breaking down before I got on and while it’s very impressive from a technical perspective, it’s not worth waiting for. It’s simply a “fine” type of ride.

I just got back from Epcot last week, we were disappointed at first because the ride was down but two hours later we went on. The ride is actually not worth all the hype.

Go to Epcot frequently and have never seen a 3 hour wait for this ride. Just one more exaggeration from a whiny guest who wants to make Disney look bad. All parks everywhere have ride closures. It happens, and Disney doesn’t deserve any more criticism than any other park. I’m tired of seeing such insignificant events reported on this website. Not worth readers time.
