The theory I’m going with is that Chili is pregnant. If you watch the episode Relax, in the final scene when Chili sits down on the chair on the deck she has a noticeable bump that looks like she could be pregnant.
Additionally, with the girls that voice Bluey and Bingo aging out of their young voices and the show developers having already had to use computer editing on their voices, we could theoretically skip ahead a few years so that Bluey and Bingo could age in the show and the original girls could continue voicing their characters while learning to be big sisters to a new infant/toddler child (likely a boy because it will add a new dynamic to the family).
I watch the show for the Heeler family. I couldn’t care less if they move, since most of the friends annoy me. I understand they’re teaching important for kids. As an adult viewer, they just tend to get on my last nerve. Muffin is a relative, so we’d still see her. I don’t like the episodes that aren’t Bluey- centric. The family dynamic is the heart & soul of the show for me. Chilli being pregnant makes total sense. I can see so many storylines coming out of it, especially if it’s a boy. I do hope it’s not that, as the “make room for baby” trope on tv has been done to death.
We know (and it was confirmed) that Chilli’s side of the gene pool has issues with conception. The mother’s day episode when the ballon burst while the kids were reenacting Chilli’s pregnancy with Bluey, the way Bandit and Chilli reacted was telling. Then of course when we meet Chilli’s sister where we get confirmation of pregnancy problems.
My theory is we follow the Heelers to a new place, closer to Chilli’s sister because Chilli is a surrogate for her sister as Chilli has been successful going full term.
I’m not sure I agree with the moving theory. In the end of Daddy Dropoff we see Bingo and Lila grow up together and graduate school together. This can’t happen if thr Heeler family moves. I think pregnancy is more likely.
