The hit Disney+ TV series Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on the popular book series written by Rick Riordan. Percy Jackson and the Olympians is about a 12-year-old boy – Percy Jackson – who finds out he is the son of a Greek God.

Rick Riordan has written many books based on Greek mythology, including Percy Jackson and the Olympians, along with many spinoff series. Other book series Rick Riordan has written include The Heroes of Olympus, Trials of Apollo, The Kane Chronicles, and Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard.
The first season follows the first Percy Jackson book, The Lightning Thief. Percy Jackson narrates all six books: The Sea of Monsters, Titans Curse, Battle of the Labyrinth, The Last Olympian, and The Chalice of the Gods. The addition of Percy’s internal monologue is entertaining for all readers!
The Lightning Thief
The book that started it all The Lightning Thief. This book’s plot is based on the first season of the Disney+ series. Percy has to travel across the United States to help retrieve Zeus’ master bolt.
The Sea of Monsters
The magical barrier of Camp Half-Blood starts to fail, and Percy has to help save the camp. Throughout this quest, he questions the family he was born into.
The Titan’s Curse
The 3rd book in the Percy Jackson series is The Titan’s Curse! The stakes are getting higher as the Titans are getting ready for battle.

As Percy enters high school, life as a demigod isn’t getting any easier. War is coming closer and closer in The Battle of the Labyrinth.
