The new Magic Kingdom Central Plaza area between Main Street, U.S.A. and Cinderella Castle is now open to guests. The new landscaping is the first milestone of a multi-phase project that features sculpted gardens, charming fountains and winding pathways. This area is designed to be reminiscent of castle gardens and offers extraordinary viewing locations for parades and fireworks. Magic Kingdom is located at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. 19 of us were at Disney Thanksgiving week. One person was sick upon arrival. Another got a norovirus type of attack. Grandson had to be taken from MK First Aid to urgent care on Thanksgiving and came back with positive flu test. Two others became sick Thanksgiving night due to having been mistakenly provided with a glutenous dessert (celiac and gluten allergy). One family of 5 were continuously hacking and sniffling. Another became ill Saturday night after Thanksgiving and was still very ill Sunday a.m. when we were departing. I became ill as we were departing for the airport. Another person became ill a day after arriving home. A 6 year old, a son in law and his 2 kids remained unscathed.
