You people are so ridiculous and predictable…what’s wrong with having safety inspections of the MR? Clearly, as stated, shut down is a last resort but if warranted would be necessary until safety standards are met…
Safety inspections are important and necessary… And ALREADY occur. Florida can’t even fix its own transportation problems, but the government chooses to waste money on a petty vendetta here.
It looks and sounds to me that the good people of Florida should needs to vote all the panzey ass’s out of offices.and put common since people on ther.start with that that nut thats using his office and power for conflict.
The Florida government should be more concerned about their highways (how many deaths have happened because of highway construction and mantanice) then what is going on at DisneyWorld. Inspect thier transports and if all is matained correctly, let them be!!!!
Is it amazing when you think about this. FDOT has no idea how to inspect monorails….so they go to the people currently doing the job and say, teach us what we need to know so that we can do a better job than you experts?
To all those attacking the Florida government, all they are doing is putting Disney parks on the same playing field as universal and The other parks in the state. To be upset about safety oversight is crazy, any mass transit should be inspected regularly by outside inspectors, that’s just common sense.
To the person looking to find scholars, DeSantis continues to dictate hos own agenda on all of Florida, regardless of what is right or wrong. His loading of the Disney board with his hand picked people, his removal of anyone who does not follow his mandates and policies, his continued fear of anything that might impede his power, all show he is willing to do anything to stay in power. Sad for a potential presidential candidate.

Born, raised, lived and worked in NYC. Retired in Florida and can tell you the roads and highways down here are much better then up North.
Frank
I suspect the monorail lines will be fine.

Got some real scholars above us here in the comments. Hopefully, DeSantis can find a way to remove trash like Disney and the people that support them.
Louis
REAL scholars ignore DeSantis rulings that are forcing DICTIONARIES to be taken out of schools because they violate his oh so tender sensibilities.
Steven
Hi Mom! Where would Florida be without Disney?

No, they are not. Universal is not subject to this regulation. And Universal just got it’s own special district!
