I absolutely loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The show had a lot of hidden lessons about teenage problems and growing up finding family that necessarily isn’t your blood persevering when you want to give up, it was a good shot. Solid show with an awesome cast I would love to see a reboot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer I listen to the audible and it was excellent, but I always said, even when Buffy was on the air that they should have really did a better backstory on Giles. I think there was a lot of material that could’ve made for some really good storytelling just something else to think about but I know a lot of people would like to see Buffy back on the air and would love to see Angel as well, especially since Angel ended so fast and wouldn’t unsatisfying ending.
No. Absolutely not. Not a chance. Do not pass GO, do not collect 200 Dollars… leave it the f* alone! Slayers was different; it was an AU, like Amber Benson decided to just write a fanfic and made it into a podfic, podcast, etc. Whatever you wanna call it. And this is coming from someone that owns the Buffyverse Discord server. Please do not ruin this with a reboot. Leave it where it’s meant to stay and let new fans discover it the way it was meant to be seen.
