No. It means that Disney Animation require more time to get its act together. In fact, I would say give it until 2025 let alone 2026 for the studio to come up with a better project. Also it also help that it wait until said project is 75% complete before making the announcement. Less pressure, less rushing, higher quality in the film.
It’s probably for the best, seeing how rushed and undercooked a lot of Disney movies have been recently with the exception of Encanto I think the company needs to give their creatives more time to work out the kinks for their next project(s) and stop stretching their workers so thin. Hopefully they can deliver something of higher quality by the time the next animated movie is announced.
