Gay use to mean cheerful. The only thing Disney is censoring here is the original definition of the word.

Yep. Blame the far right snowflakes who want to rewrite history so that they can find a safe space. They’re so afraid of the lies about Disney indoctrinating kids that silly things like this happen

Good- cancel culture works both ways. Good so see the loons on the left such as yourself get your panties in a bunch over this. Even better to see WDW is going to the extreme other side of the spectrum. Maybe their stock will now recuperate

It’s not right to change non offensive words because someone says “oh that could be deemed offensive” this just causes trouble and hatred towards people that don’t even care if the word gay is in a song , someone somewhere needs to get a grip

Yep. Blame the far right snowflakes who practice Cancel Culture. This is what they wanted to happen.

There’s just no “there” there with this one. I’ve heard alternate Xmas song lyrics all my life, whether it’s “O Come All Ye Faithful” or “Adestes Fideles” – same melody, same sentiment, different words.

Foolish Disney, sadly, I used to love you, happy/festive clothes is what the meaning is, whoever changed this for them. Get a real education to learn what words mean and the terminology of the era. Stop, just stop ruining things.

How can anybody get an education when dictators like DeSantis are taking over educational institutions, eliminating people’s opportunities to learn about their bodies and receive health care, and forcibly removing autonomy from both individual citizens and businesses.

So I guess if you don’t like this change… Blame Ron.

In all honesty who makes these decisions?

    1. Denise

Right wing cancel culture is who makes these kinds of decisions. Sad.
