This ride shows us our own history…..this is what people wore, how they lived. We are observing our own history. It should not be hidden or changed. Maybe update some of the mechanics to be smoother but the rest is factual!
The Carousel of Progress is just fine as it is. Nothing will get made or done if people nitpick over every little thing that bothers them or offends their sensibilities. It’s bad enough Splash Mountain is being changed!!

My entire family loves the Carousel of Progress. The depiction on each decade is wonderful. I lived through 3-4 of them. They are spot on. Please keep this ride to show future generations how far we have come!

Oh, good grief. For starters, it’s not the liberals who have a problem with this…I’m sure that, as usual, it’s the conservatives. After all, it’s a young girl in her underwear. The underwear also covers more than most clothing that a lot of girls wear now, so get over it! This ride shows how we dressed, what we did, etc., in different eras, and there’s nothing wrong with any of it. Why people have decided to pick on this now…just wow! I’m a 72 year “old lady” and it doesn’t hurt my sensibilities a bit. The ride is fine, leave it alone! Disney has ruined enough rides trying to please the conservatives. Enough already!
