It’s really such a pity that Disney can’t look at everything and back up and regroup. Even after Little Mermaid did so and you’d think they’d learn.

Hopefully they don’t go overboard and push their agenda. As for Disney its okay to change stories, plots whatever. If you change they don’t mask it, if its blatant “whateverism” that is fine. ” Don’t pretend its not alter, changed call it what it is make known.” Disney chose the wrong spokesperson, PR person. Her statements were like challenges, justifications wrong way to garner a positive thought from somebody. Disney should of made two films. CG, AI, could of made the cartoon more realistic for probably a lot less these issues cost them. Only problem could be the live action doing terrible. So I plan to watch this news one with my kids, they live action I can wait till its comes to video “They little Mermaid, fiasco” waited till last week. It was okay i just felt it missed the mark. It was to long, and was not nearly as entertaining.

I certainly will NOT be seeing the BS version. I’ll see this one if it is true to the original story.

Looking forward to seeing a Live Action Remake of a timeless classic that remains true to the story itself. Shame that The ‘House Of Woke’ cannot see that their ship is sinking rather than double down in the nonsense.

I will wait and see what others say about the final version. Then if it is not a “political correctness” remake I will then, and only then, take my grandkids to see it!

      2. I hear that there is a live version in process that is true to REAL story. BUT not from Disney!! So sad for Walt’s concept.n

So you want the queen to dance in red hot iron slippers till she dies? And a servant to trip and dislodge the apple in snow White’s throat?

Better than a feminist with inauthentic traits like beauty, charisma and brains.
Fun fact, feminists want romance despite their screeching

    3. Whormongr

Yeah I can’t wait to see the part where the bear kills and dismembers the evil dwarf

  4. Adam

Rachel Ziegler didn’t need to bad mouth her producers and production company. Talk about an unforced error

  5. Bekah

No saving the disney version at this point. Hopefully Brett Coopers will be good.

  6. Andrew

Disneys version will be a financial disaster

  7. Rachel

I’m low key more excited for the Bentkey version than the Disney one. Lately Disney movies haven’t had the same impact as they used to.

    1. Terri

Completely agree – the magic isn’t hitting the same

  8. NJ

Ah I don’t forget miss Z’s comments. And alot of people are going to remember them . Disney should cut their loses now and just release it. Rachel is a entitled brat who is a example of this generation that is what wrong with it

I’m an avid Disney lover although change is good we should not have to change classics whether AI or not. Therefore, i will continue to support Disney Productions. It is what it is, and yes it is not the 30’s but it was a classic then and should continue in the same steps. When is this so called new wave of productions going to be exactly that ” NEW”. If we’re going with new choose this time frame to move forward with “NEW” topics. There is a reason why we refer to our past as history…..cause it is and in the past!
      MOVE FORWARD PEOPLE!!

      1. Joanne

Totally agree with you, many people want things to be exactly the same as how it was in the 30s. That was the 20th century! We are now in the 21st century and we have to move forward and adapt to changes.

        1. JP

I think you missed the point… “new” means new stories, not remaking old ones, by rewriting and “wokifying”them! That’s actually destroying the original, and disrespecting every fan of the original version.

      2. Shannon

If you are good with “moving on” as you say. Then maybe Disney should shelf the classics and hire talent that can create new and impactful movies that speak to THIS generation. Rather than destroy the stories and history of the past.

      3. Bob

I wish disney would do what universal did when they tried to make a dark universe with their movie monsters. By seeing how bad the idea was and stopping it.

  9. Samantha

I will not ever be watching the Disney version, but the one with Brett we will see. I think that version is going to a huge hit and Disney’s will flop.

  10. Gemma

Disney is not as good as it used to be it gone down hill 😔 I’m very disappointed I used to like watching Disney movies I’m not interested in them anymore I just don’t care Disney was so amazing year’s a go I just wish it was good again but i bet you walt disney is turning in his grave he probably very disappoint of what they have done to his legacy he would be very upset because I would of If I was involved in Disney I would be very upset

  11. I do not like how Disney just ruined it’s own renseance by creating a mistake on top of a mistake I will not stand for this grave injustice I demand that all live action Disney films to be removed and scenes deleted at once if Disney keeps this up there won’t be any more films to watch nor view hear my voice Disney stop this live action injustice I stand with Disney fans and it’s lovers when I say this no more stupid live action movies I am sick and tired of this idiotocy you come up with now this time I mean it and I really mean it shut down productions of live action mistakes I will Never surrender to the likes of you refix the stinking park back to it’s former glory or face Florida’s court of law they have the power to shut you down forever by their judicial power

  12. Disney’s idea of “progress” and “moving forward” is encouraging Cultural Marxism, Anti-Americanism, Buggery, and Grooming.

  13. Shannon

If you are good with “moving on” as you say. Then maybe Disney should shelf the classics and hire talent that can create new and impactful movies that speak to THIS generation. Rather than destroy the stories and history of the past.

  14. Rob

Well someone’s late to the party LOL 🙂
