We are from the UK and enjoy a few drinks going round Epcot. It’s always been expensive but so has everything else. We only do it one night of a 14 day trip so happy to take the hit. We don’t drink to excess but have left Epcot tipsy on a few occasions.
Alcohol at ALL Disney venues has aways been expensive relative to the price in the “real world” — I was “shocked” the first time I purchased a beer that cost MORE than what I was accustomed to paying for a good blended Scotch! However, over the years, I’ve come to accept that EVERYTHING at Disney is relatively expensive, but since the pandemic it seems that Disney has been “price gouging” on everything in an effort to recoup their lost revenue from that closing. Unfortunately, it has gotten MUCH worse both inside & outside of the parks — the beer that I paid $8 for just last year now costs over $10 at the resort where I stay. Once upon a time, the additional kiosks at Epcot for the Food & Wine Festival were advertised as having a price of $8 & below for EVERYTHING… such is NOT the case now!!!
Yeah….sure Disney. Keep using that as an excuse. Maybe you’ll convince yourselves that is why you’re raising drink prices.
You’re just looking to raise prices any way that you can without making it look like corporate greed. And that’s what the parks have become now…..corporate greed.
It is not fair to jack up the prices and ruined it for all of the responsible people, The bartenders and the waitresses and waiters need to go thru a TIPS training to know when someone has had enough and do not serve them.
